When The Time Comes

when the time comes, for me to go
when my heart stops beats ever slow
when my thoughts fade my memories gone
when the knight takes this lonely pawn

when the time comes, for me to go
when i cannot feel and cannot grow
when my visions black and i face my fear
when the music stops and i cannot hear

when the time comes, for me to go
when i cannot think and blood won't flow
when i leave from here and watch from above
i hope i'm remembered by those i love...

The Lonely Man (of a Thousand Friends)

I spend my time in my room confiding in my pen
the paper does not judge me, nor does it betray
the days go by like years, and the years seem like eternity
every fleeting whisper twists perception, in spite of legitamcy
mentally how do you rationalize what you can't understand?
how can someone accept someone that doesn't accept themselves?
as something to everyone and everything to no one
only in pain am i not a ghost
the lonely man of a thousand friends
