You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers. Suicide affects so many people. Very tragic that people feel there is no other way Yes it does. The ripple effect is devastating to those remaining. I feel so sorry for her daughter to find her. I am in shock. We all are.  
Two people I am close to at work have experienced this same tragedy. I didnt know the people who died personally but was still affected. I see the hurt in my friends and feel helpless to ease the pain of loss. I am really sorry it was someone close to you |

I think it makes you appreciate life and everything you have a lot more when you work hard for it. I put my self thru school and just bought my own house. Every goal I set for myself I have achieved. I have many set backs but push thru them. I want someone for my daughter to look up to. I want her to be proud of me. I refuse to ever give up or give in to hard times. can never say life is boring haha
Its nice when you pay the bills and have no one to be dependant on- you get to make the rules!! |

It made me stronger though..and alittle mean lol Me too!! My strong sense of independance makes it difficult to date! I take no ****.

i understand its all the beginning and she will grow out of it, i just feel like i deserve to be happy and just handle me reponsibilities as a father. Yes, you deserve to be happy! Dont feel guilty about that. Just know that child should be number one. You are second!!

It's her being hurt! I am not defending her but I am a single parent myself. Been in enough relationships to be able to put myself in peoples shoes. Please give her some time to come to terms with the situation. She probably thinks your gonna screw her over. And maybe the thought of you having a family with someone else one day is to much for her??? well said. It took awile for me to be..ok..and independent and even though you do visits...it is hard raising a child or children 24.7 alone. What doesnt kill us makes a stronger!

I agree with 2kids.....get stuff going with the court so you dont have to be threatened by her. Using a child as a pawn between parents is awful.
