Please keep my cousins in your prayers. I just received word that my blood cousin's wife committed suicide ..


Was not close to them but had just reconnected on FB. Seemed her comments were always upbeat. He was fixing a home for their retirement. She seemed very excited. Makes no sense.

My cousin is devastated but even worse, their oldest daughter found her body.

This is so very very sad.

Yes it does. The ripple effect is devastating to those remaining. I feel so sorry for her daughter to find her. I am in shock. We all are.

I am so sorry to hear of your families loss. Suicide is such a selfish thing. The person feels that is the way to end their problems, but don't take into consideration the trouble it causes their loved ones, emotionally.

I hope the family will go to grief counsilling....if not, let them know you are there for them. All of you will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Two people I am close to at work have experienced this same tragedy. I didnt know the people who died personally but was still affected. I see the hurt in my friends and feel helpless to ease the pain of loss. I am really sorry it was someone close to you

Oh Judy I am so sorry!! I had a sister in law and a best friend both take their lives,but we must NOT be judgemental as we dont know what pain they might have been in!!! all we can do is know they must be at peace and deal with their passing the best we can!! My prayers are with U and the family!!

Eileen I do agree it's selfish and manipulative BUT at the same time as Mikey reminds us, we don't know the state of mind they were in when they made that final decision.

Honestly, I would never have the courage to do it, but then some say it's a cowardly act as well.

I DO feel deeply for whatever pain drove her to it .. and my heart breaks for her loved ones. I didn't know her well, but I do know her husband, my first cousin and I know he's suffering deeply.

It's one of those things that leaves you speechless.
