For me personally, being fairly new myself...I got a bit intimidated getting nudges and emails right away...and no I didn't respond either...in fact, I even blocked some who were "stalking me" like! LOL
So what I did was come in the forums and play..I like to think I have a good sense of humor, so that comes naturally for me, although my sarcasm seems to get a few riled up, so I'm working on that! It comes off as rude or insensitive at times. In the forums, you learn who you can cut up with and who is more sensitive, shy, withdrawn, insecure, freaky...lmao (you know what I mean)
with all that said...I started getting more comfortable talking with some of the regulars and have gradually added friends and will nudge only the ones I have come to know a little.
Some aren't even here to meet that special someone, believe it or not, some folks just enjoy the forums and chatting with friends...so in realizing this, I read posts and get to know who they are...research so to say. Anyway, hope that helps! Have fun and yes, it's addictive!!flowerforyou

I have a bit of an interest in photography,my specialist subjects are macro shots of insects and arachnids,plus wildflowers.
Also shoot urban decay type shots,ruins and derelict buildings,burnt out stolen cars in a fine art style,and the odd industrial wasteland shot. :smile:

Enjoyed going through it. I need to grab a thumb drive and load the one of the bumblebee on the wisteria flower from last year.

The dog was too cute. Enjoyed the various insects.

And the horses were a lovely shot, until I read your comments.

Basically I take shots of cruelty and mistreatment of animals,and put them on the internet in the hope of making people aware of what goes on?
The horses are unwanted pets,a certain group of people buy them cheaply at an auction,when they have a lorry load they send them off for slaughter for the meat trade. :cry:
