I think there is no direct link between criticism and education. However, part of wisdom and maturity is derived from pattern recognition which does come with education, time of reflection, and experience. This thread is one of a series where a definite pattern has been established. A rather extensive effort by many to teach has been ignored. In this case IMO the use of humor is appropriate.

In order to learn one must respect the source of knowledge. When one shows no respect and, in fact, displays large amounts of arrogance combined with misuse of language and cultural norms, one does indeed invite ridicule. Serious inquiries are rapidly separated.

This is Mingle, not a college classroom. If some of the questions posed herein were posed in a classroom, the probability of ridicule would approach 100%.

The old adage of "There are no stupid questions, only stupid answers." falls apart when certain attitudes of the asker are exposed.

AGE ... and TIME ... are not logically connected in this context but to a 12 year old would seem to be mysterious and connected.

"TIME is actually absent" is nonsense as are "factors made by man" as no mentioned concept is made by man except maybe the language misused to describe it.

The irony is that the value of maturity being discounted in this and similar posts is highlighted and is so very lacking in the formulation of the concepts.

A 20 years may indeed have the biological status (whatever the hell that is) of a 45 year old (ED perhaps?) but it ain't happen' here!)

the original posts in both are correct in many ways.

but theyre only the opinions of 1 weird looking picture possesing person.

i like to stir the **** and i think its funny how people here will protest at the degradeing of some people opinions, and then join in with the degradeing of others.espeacialy when if you look into it, sometimes the threads posted are very similar.

where as on this occasion, i just think we should leave this thread and this fake person to argue with him/herself because their not realy possing a question. theyre mearly stating a fact as they see it.

in short, it IS just their opinion, but its also a fact. other people have different opinions and those opinions are also facts. so what is the arguement here. the arguement is that some people cant see that the op is corect as they belive that their own opinion is the only corect opinion.
