You could start here:

http://blogs.mercola.com/sites/vitalvotes/archive/2010/03/17/beware-of-the-agave-nectar-health-food-fraud.aspx

Also here:

However, the extremely high percentage of fructose can be deleterious and can trigger fructose malabsorption, metabolic syndrome[9], hypertriglyceridemia, decreased glucose tolerance, hyperinsulinemia, and accelerated uric acid formation.[10][11][12]

Look under the heading of 'Composition'.

I honestly didn't know that
I was under the impression that agave was a good alternative to syrups and sugars.
I'm going to research it more. Thanks for the heads up.

and thanks for the links!
I'm getting an education today

Thanks Angel
No problem RowBaby smile2 I don't want to see anyone get hurt. Life is too special. There should be some health links about the warnings of agave on the net. I'll see what I can dig up for you

Lets look at his education and accomplishments.
Bush has no real education and he has no accomplishments. Deal with it. He was nothing more than a black eye for this great country for 8 years. THANK GOD he is history and now the historians can put him and all his cronies in their place, and thank god for the invention of video tape. Read 'em and weep:

Public option is what we need, but hey, I guess the insurance companies weren't too happy about that huh whoa

Maybe now people will unite and take a better look at public option...

And people wonder how Obama got elected

I don't wonder about such common sense things. I wonder how bush got re-elected. LOL

ive been in colorado for a year and have yet to make one friend that hasnt screwed me over and my family dont like me all that much so thats out
First... sorry to hear about your bad family. You deserve to be loved and supported and if they aren't there for you then you are better off without them. Some families are overrated. Unfortunately, everyone doesn't get a picture perfect family to share life with... but there are plenty of good people in this world that will appreciate you and love you for who you are on the inside... surround yourself with them Queen1... flowerforyou

Regarding the marriage... why does it have to be one way or the other? Keep the option of marriage on the table, but maybe wait another 9 months or year... if the other person truly loves you then everything will be fine. If they don't then you just avoided a costly divorce... either way I see nothing wrong with just dating a little longer. In the end, knowing someone for less than a year really isn't all that long. You need a stronger foundation than that. No one on this forum can answer your question, because no one on this forum knows you and the other person, yet alone have seen the two of you interact together. You might as well just flip a coin... For a meaningful answer you'll need a professional counselor. Ask yourself how is the communication in the relationship? No need to respond, just be honest with yourself... You also mentioned that you haven't had sex yet with them, and that is actually a GOOD thing, especially for a woman. Wait until things are more set in concrete before rushing this and you will be happy about it later. I hear your frustration and loneliness and I understand how you may be tempted to want to get married to the other person, but you need to first make peace with yourself, and with what you've said about your family I wonder how your self-esteem is. Getting married to ANYONE won't fix that Queen1, and you have your whole life ahead of you. The fact that you took the time to post this thread should tell you something about your own doubts. I would take things slow, and not rush into something as important as marriage just yet. Keep the option open, just don't rush into it. Whatever you decide I wanted to wish you the best of luck, and I hope things work out in your best interest flowerforyou

yes that is good advice, and i talked to him today and we are going to get married but we will be waiting well over a year before we do.^__^ ur a smart man, thanks alotflowerforyou
Sounds good Queen1  Best of luck to the both of you flowerforyou

Save some wedding cake for me tongue2

Specifically Agave.

Sugar has it's own health issues which is why when a recipe calls for brown sugar it's better to just use molasses (brown sugar is made from mixing one tablespoon of molasses for every cup of white sugar)

Here's some info on those terms for you:

Not using a lot. Just using it sparingly on grapefruit and tea and stuff...
 Good to hear. Was just worried that you might get metabolic syndrome, an overly accelerated uric acid formation, hyperinsulinemia or hypertriglyceridemia.

I think if Bush had written up this bill, made it mandatory to buy insurance, and done all the back door deals like Obama did, people would be screaming bloody murder, and impeachment at the top of their lungs
I think if elephants could fly... oh wait, that's not going to happen either. LOL

I am really HOPING this goes all the way through without some crazy physical altercations like what happened when 'states rights' were argued in the case of slavery.
So do I, but it certainly wouldn't surprise me what some of these lunies would do just to prove a point.... They do not defend the law, they only care about themselves, corruption, big business, greed and power.... you watch and see, a group of them will get together and do some of the most despicable things just to prove a unprovable point, and fox (so-called) news will have cameras there first. LOL laugh

The American people will not allow a corrupt machine to dictate their future.
History says otherwise... can you say bush? LOL slaphead

No, but I can say 'FDR', 'LBJ', 'JIM-meh!, 'Clinton', and 'The ONE' ...
They were small potatoes compared to the bush-cheney legacy of corruption. Even the devil was over shadowed by them... LOL pitchfork

or maybe even agave syrup? I've been using more of that lately too.
Agave nectar is sweeter than honey but be careful, as using too much can be very unhealthy.... scared

Cut an acorn squash in half, scoop out the seeds, fill with butter, brown sugar, pecans and raisins.
This is how I usually make them... except I don't use brown sugar because it's bad for ya and instead use molasses (which is how they make brown sugar)... Love the OP's idea too... sounds great! drinker

Comparing pressure cooked to slow smoked is ... no comparison.
You're comparing two different qualities of cooking whoa You do not use a pressure cooker for taste.... if that's what you want then simply use the traditional smoker before pressure cooking them (same if you want grill marks)... slaphead
