Hi. Based on what I have learned from my leaders, from you guys. I have come to a conclusion. One can attain salvation regardless of his religion, but of course you should be a Christian, and not a Muslim. (I refer Christians in this post who may be born again, Catholics, Sabbadist, Protestants, Baptist, whatever religion as long as you believe in God. When example someone ask you “If you die now, are you sure you will be going to heaven?” Your answer is yes, and you should state that “Because it is what God has promised us, it is because Jesus died on the cross for us to have eternal life.” You should be completely sure. But of course, as you have faith, as you have realized that God has given you this great of a blessing, your life should be renewed, you should always think that you should glorify God, you should change your ways. What ways? You should not use drugs, commit adultery, etc, if you stop glorifying Him, coz’ if you don’t change them it’s as if you don’t have complete faith in God. It’s as if your answer to this question is no. Good works comes after faith. But if your answer in the question is no, and you say because you’re not sure since you don’t know if you are a good person or not, if you kind of based your answer on the good works you have done, and not of God’s promise, then I’m sorry, but you won’t be saved. Why by the way regardless of religion, because some people attend Born again Christian church but do not portray the role of Christians, they don’t internalize their faith, some attend the Catholic Church, but still believe in faith followed by good works. Plus being a Christian is not a religion right? It is basically focuses on your relationship with God. No one can really know if you will attain salvation actually, only you and God, your relationship with Him.

Yes so true. Sometimes, it sucks hearing Christians saying that if you are a Catholic or Muslim, or other religion, then they would immediately go to hell. I think instead of saying that, they should just be more prayerful to their fellow men, and not sort of discriminate them.

In John 14:6, Jesus says "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."

So, God does discriminate between people who accept Messiah Jesus as Savior, Lord and the only way to Heaven and people who don't accept Messiah Jesus as Savior, Lord and the only way to Heaven.

Christians in the Roman Catholic Church accept Messiah Jesus as Savior, Lord and the only way to Heaven. So, they will have Heaven as their eternal home.

Muslim, in contrast, don't accept Messiah Jesus as Savior, Lord and the only way to Heaven. So, they are bound for the lake of fire.

What do you mean by "Christians in the Roman Catholic Church"?

The Roman Catholic Church is one segment of the universal Church, which is comprised of all believer in Messiah Jesus, including messianic Jews, Protestant Christians, Coptic Christians, Eastern Orthodox Christians, Oriental Orthodox Christians, Anglican Christians, as well as Roman Catholic Christians.

Ah. ok. In our place, that is not the case actually. Catholics are different from Christians, from Muslims, from Sabadist, Jehovah, etc. Like for example, Catholic does the sign of the cross, Christians don't. Catholics pray to Mary, Christians pray immediately to God. Both believe in God, but Catholics do believe that once you are a good person, then you will for surely go to heaven, unlike for us Christians, we believe that is by faith that we can be saved. It is the Christians, Baptist, and the Protestants who are almost alike.

What do you mean by "Christians in the ROman Catholic Church"? DO you mean the people who are Christian by faith, but Catholics in papers? Or pure Catholics? Because coming from a Catholic church, I believe Catholics believe that it is by works and faith that people can be saved, and not by faith alone. Can you please explain it further to me? Thanks!

Yeah gwen that was a great dilemma you took there. Here is my life. I was born into a family of seven and i was the last of all. Before and after my birth my parents has always being in christ but then me and my other siblings were not serious with the things concerning God,though i knew i had a great call in life. A friend of mine who was devoted to christ, he was always persuading me to go to church but i do refuse his opinions. In 2004 i came encounter with a prophet by name Daniel. He took me to his church and made me his drumalist. During this encounter with prophet dan, my parents already had their own prophetess and she was much more greater than prophet daniel. I began to learn spirituality through the help of prophet daniel. In 2006 the prophet relocated to another state and i stoped attending churches. In 2007 on sunday evening my immediate elder brother fell seriously ill and my parents were in the chapel(church). I became afraid and thought that he was going to die, i picked up his phone and called my parents, in 5 minutes time my parents and some group of prayer warriors arrived in our home. They carried my brother to the prophetess in the chapel. My brother was made well by the prophetess, from then hence forth my brother became devoted to God remaining me who refuse to change to their ways. I decided to attend their chapel one sunday and that sunday was the day i came fully encounter with christ. They added me and my brother to the group of levites. I saw christ working greatly there and i became devoted to Him. Since then till now i have achieved greatly in christ, i am a drumalist,a preacher, a levite and also a junior prophet under his master. Through all this the rest of my siblings came to know God and we are praising him all together. My dad was made a pastor in one of the branches in our country. I realised that i was born to be for christ and for christ alone. Thanks for reading gwen.

Nice one. Praise God your life, for using you and your family to be His instrument. May you always have the passion to serve Him and to know Him more, making Him the Lord of your life.

I have once again, started to try to read, the entire bible. Right now im in Genesis, and its already getting hard for me to understand. Is there a place, that would be a better starting place, for me? Is it necessary that I read about who had kids, how many they had, when they died, when their kids died, ect....

I have a VERY SHORT attenion span, and have recently devoted my Sunday afternoons, to reading the bible. But its really hard for me to stay with it, when its all so confusing. All the names, this kid, that kids kids, when they all died....its not only confusing...its really boring. NOT GOOD!

I want to keep my promise, to read the bible, on Sunday afternoons, but im already finding it difficult.

What do you suggest?

God bless you!flowerforyou

HI! For our case, I was advised by my leader to start reading at the Book Matthew, to read the New Testament before the Old Testament. I don't know. You may want to try it too.

Hello! Yes of course. We should start today our job as Christians, our job to win people, to glorify God. I mean, we don't know when our end is, only God knows, or even when the end of the world is. But it has been said, that based on the things happening to this world, according to the Revelations, the end is near. So we really need to double-time.

Hi. I just want to share my testimony with you how I came to know God, and when I found out that God is really the only one whom I could surely lean on.

When I was in Elementary, I was the best in class, I was a geek. Then I was able to pass and study in a presitigious Science High School in our place. At first, I have done well with my studies, but then I got bored, and then I started not doing my assignments, not studying for the exams, and just be free. This happened when I had had a cellular phone, and when I learned to chat online. I failed in most of my subjects, I was always called at the principal’s office, my Mom was always had to report to school. Then I felt so ashamed of myself, specially that I was bullied by my batchmates, then I thought nobody needs me, so I attempted suicide three times. But thankfully, I was able to graduate high school and entered college.

During my 1st year in College, I again have done my best, because the people think that since I came from a Science High School, then I am great. I have told myself that I will graduate with honors. I have taught my classmates, guided them, I also felt better now that I thought I was able to gain again confidence. At that time, I thought I was the best in our class, in our College. Then I observed one of my classmates, he’s not at all intelligent but he was diligent. I knew he was a part of an organization, so I told him that I want to be a part of it. I did not know that that organization was connected to a church, a born again church. I enjoyed the meetings every week, the worship, everything. Then I decided to join Encounter God Retriet, it was then that I found out how Jesus suffered on the cross for us, how God allowed His Son to suffer like that just for us to be saved. I felt so blessed. After the EGR, I started to attend trainings for me to become a leader. Then I decided to create a group. That time became the most difficult time in my life. Why? Because my spiritual daughters who were older than me became so dependent on me, not just spiritually, but also academically. My Spiritual Mom always get mad on me, because I have a spiritual sister who is not always attending our meetings, since I am the accountability partner, she said or blames me that I can’t attend to her. The classmate of mine who invited me to the Church always copies the answers to my quizzes, assignments, everything, and that happened during the whole year. I couldn’t say no because I kind of owed to him why I became a part of that Church. I had a lot of subjects in school, and my grades failed because I had to tutor that specific classmate of mine even though he cheats on my paper, like I was tasked to place my answer in a bond paper then pass it to him during exams, my time was wasted. I was not able to study for my exams because I had to make cell group agenda, I had to attend seminars, etc., specially that my spiritual mom wanted me to focus more on ministry than studies. I was not able to eat lunch for a year, because I needed to save for activities in the church, for our food during our cell group meetings. My classmates were also mad at me, because I was the class president and I was not able to do my obligation, and I was not able to set a good example. My parents got so mad at me. They are anti-born again Christians, so what I did was I always lie to them, but my sister has a spy who told her everything, who tells my Mom everything. I ALMOST WANTED TO GIVE UP, I DON’T KNOW WHO ELSE CAN HELP ME. BUT I DID NOT. BECAUSE I PUT THIS VERSE TO HEART: DEUTERONOMY 31:6: BE STRONG AND OF A GOOD COURAGE, FEAR NOT, NOR BE AFRAID OF THEM: FOR THE LORD YOUR GOD, HE IT IS THAT DOES GO WITH YOU; HE WILL NOT FAIL YOU, NOR FORSAKE YOU.” I held on that verse, I told myself to not be afraid, everything will be okay, that God will not leave me, that He did not gave me that challenge if He won’t be there to help me. And thankfully, I was able to pass that year, and graduated maybe not with honors, but with 3 awards, Oustanding Student award, Senior Class Organization Officer, Junior Class Organization officer and Supreme Student Government Officer Award.

God gave me more than I wanted. If it were not for Him, I could not be able to survive that most difficult year in my life. But I have to admit, it may be the most difficult, but it was also the most beautiful year because it was then when I came to know God, and how much He loves me. At the same time, I felt so blessed because I was tasked to share to my testimony with my Churchmates, it felt very rewarding.

Thanks for reading. I hope you were inspired by it. Can anyone else out there share their testimonies? Thanks!

Just pray for that. I am sure you'll soon find Christians in your place who are of the same age as yours.

Amen! Thanks for sharing that verse. Christians should be the happiest people on earth because we know the truth, we know that God loves us so much, and because of that, we should share that happiness to everyone.

SO true. and we don't have to worry anything about our future, because God has planned everything already.

As what is said in Jeremiah 29:11:
For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

So true. I like that verse Hebrews 10:22. Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.

We can all learn from this verse. Like we are here in this site to make friends, to date people online hoping to find our soulmates here. But we don't have to expose ourselves, we don't have to be sprinkled from an evil conscience, we can still remain pure. It is better for people to like us for who we are, and not for what we can offer.

Hi. I've experienced the same thing. You just have to ask for a sign from God, close your eyes, take a deep breath, talk to Him, read the Bible. In the Bible, you will know if it's a Yes or a No. If you are having your daily devotion, you will understand it. If it is a yes, then never doubt God, have faith that that is the right guy, just patiently wait.

I so love this song. It is entitled "One step at a time" by Psalty the Singing book. I love this since I was a kid...

Here's the lyrics:

Whenever it seems too hard to handle
Too big to conquer, too far away to touch...

When all your dreams begin to shatter,
And deep inside you, it's hurtin' oh so much...

So when it's time to say,

I'm climbing my mountain, step by step,
I'm climbing my mountain, day by day,
I'm climbing my mountain, all the way,
I'm climbing my mountain, I'm gonna make it,

One Step at a time,(2x)
With Jesus by my side...

One step at a time (2x)
I'm climbing my mountain, one step at a time...

Even though, you might grow weary,
Don't be discouraged, in our weakness, God is strong,

Remember this, He'll never leave you,
He won't forsake you, He's your strength and He's your song...

I dedicate this song to all those who are suffering great difficulties in their lives right now. Please don't get discouraged, instead, have faith, and take things one step at a time with Jesus by your side.
