This is a poem, I wrote it for my 17 year old daughter who passed after a tragic accident.......

CHRISTMAS DANCE

I know you’re with God now, He’s holding your hand
And I’m sure by now, He’s told you of all he has planned

So ask Him please, if you can come once more with me
To dance and sing and enjoy each other’s company

I miss you so very much every single day
Life is so darn hard, when you’re so far away

So dear sweet child, your smile so very bright
Please dance your way into my dreams tonight

Sing my heart a song to make me smile
So that I may float with you, just for a little while

We’ll whirl and spin and laugh as we go
Forgetting for a bit, about yesterday and tomorrow

We’ll bounce on the clouds and run in fields of flowers
And for one brief moment, again the world will be ours

We’ll hold each other’s hands and hug ever so tight
I’ll tell you I love you and everything will be alright

As God call you back, He’ll leave a beautiful morning sun
Just to remind me of all the wonderful things we’ve done

As I wake, I’ll give praise to Him for the chance
Of letting us together, have one more Christmas Dance
