i'm glad someone gets me... I have a bestfriend that I have been friends with for like 14+ years and she just doesn't get it sometimes so it's hard to talk to her... she always says we need to find you a man

hey i'll take one of those as well with my shots... man now i'm wishin I had gone to the bar with my friend... I just didn't want to be the 3rd wheel besides you guys are nicer

it's hard to go from being in a relationtionship for 4 1/2 years to being single for 3 and watching all of your friends and family get married and have kids

well if you guys are serving drinks I'll take a double shout of vodka and a coke to chase it

I just get really fustrated when my friends and family keep asking me why i'm still single and how come I can't meet anyone.. that's why I came here.. I'm not into the whole bar and club thing... and I am still running into the same problems

So I am ready to give up on trying to find someone and not just on JSH but all together.. I realize I have only been on here a week but the only guys that will talk to me from Minnesota are too old.. the one who wasn't too old brought up sex right away and when I politely said "no thank you" he said he had to go and won't speak to me now... this is the stuff I run into all of the time both online and offline... either I'm not pretty enough, I have bad teeth, I'm not skinny enough, or I won't put out... so I'm sick of trying... I guess this is why I have stayed single for 3 years... I have always thought it was from lack of trying but now I realize it's not...

and for the rest of the non-minnesotan guys that I have spoken to thanks for being so nice to me and it's too bad you are so far away...

now i'm sorry for the pitty pary and complaining but I had to get this off my chest... if you guys want to moderate it that's fine.. I understand how our community works...

If you have any advice for me feel free to give.. because I really don't know what to do any more

I try to stick with guys around my age... if the guy is younger maybe a year or two ( I am 25 )I wouldn't go any younger than 22 and that's even really young... as for older I think the very limit would be 31 and it would have to be for the right person.. for me it is hard to date older guys because my brother is 9 years older than me and it just doesn't feel right to me.. I would feel like I am dating my brother's friends
