John...It seems like a good idea...however...people sometimes thing that when you omit details like that and then spring it on them later...that it's just like lying.

And sometimes people feel trapped by that. They feel guilty that if it's too much for them to handle that if they step back from it they might hurt you...and honestly...that's not really a position anyone needs to be in. The hurtee or the hurter.

Because I think people are afraid of that sort of commitment. And I think moreover...people are afraid that they can't be everything that you need. Whether or not you've expressed a need from them at all...

I have MS. I don't disclose that to people because I've run into issues with people thinking that they need to be around to push my wheelchair one day. Well Im' 28...relatively healthy...and I don't need their pity or their help.

I wish you the best of luck with your health as well as with your search for someone who can look past your diagnosis.
