Check out the persons profile, down at the bottom it lists recent activity, it may show when they asked you/you asked them to be friends. Oh.. never knew you could do that.. good idea. No wonder I don't remember her.. I asked her to be a friend over a year ago.. lol. |

Knowing I probably wouldn't get much for suing the place I work at due to an injury I had at work and still am not over yet. I'm not too sure what to do here, sue or not to sue. I spoke to a lawyer already this morning he thinks I should sue but he also told me it could take up to a year as well as I wouldn't get much. So my hands are tied here and my head is going in a million places or so it seem's to have slowed down a bit. I am just not to sure what to do right now. Plus I hate trying to make my mind up, not to mention this lawyer I spoke to thinks I may not have a job as it is.. well I called up the hirer up and asked them, it seem's I still do have a job but when I went to call the store I work at I couldn't speak to the HR until tomorrow because she is out, so I plan on asking if I still have a spot there or what. Any thoughts on what I shall do here then ?. Did you see an employment law specialist. When I had an injury at work I saw one and was very helpful. He did not recommend that I sue. The case is still open after 3 years as I still have pain, but I still have my job. No because I don't know where to find one at. Any ideas or help would be great full. You can just look in your phone book under employment law or do a google search. There were none in my area, but I found one about an hour from where I live. Oh okay.. thank you. Also thanks to every body else who repled too. |

I'd say it all depends who your employer is. All I can say is there a step up from Wal-mart. |

If you got medical attention, workmans comp should pay for your medical bills. Beyond that, if you are looking for compensation because you got injured, you will have to sue. I don't recommend suing unless you really feel it's worth it. You would be surprised how many co- workers turn against you when they find out you are suing. Suing a company puts everyone's jobs in jeopardy. I am no longer getting workmen compenstation because of there freakin doctor I went to see, not to mention it wouldn't bother me if any of the workers at that store turned againest me. So in one way it's no big deal because I am not worried what others think at the store I went to. They wheren't at all friendly towards me from the day I helped them out etc. Bottom line here is I can't go back and do the same job so it's like either there gonna fire me there gonna force me to quit. |

Like they say in the movies or song too.. if you love some one enough to let them go sometimes they might just come back.
All you can do is ask to meet and say you need to talk and go from there. Take a chance and hey the worse thing that could happen is you could change your mind or you want to get back together. |

Ouch... Sorry to hear you are going though all this.. I would simply jot down the Pros and Cons of suing and not suing.. Suing someone is a big deal and not to take lightly, esp in this economy, with it being your job. Why not get a advice from different lawyers and go from there? I find personally a good cry helps me.. I think more clear after one. Thank you.. Funny you should mention a different lawyer.. because I have one lol working on a different case for me, which I asked him.. it seem's he thinks I should go for it, but I am gonna try one more lawyer and see what he thinks. As this old saying has it.. Dang if I do and Dang if I don't. |

I'm not sure how this feels but one can guess every body need's there own freedom and space.
It personaly wouldn't bother me to much, but as the old saying goes.. to each there own. Maybe this boyfriend of your's likes to hear your voice if not maybe he does have issues who really knows. All you can really do is be up front and honest with him and say hey your the type of person who need's space and would rather not hear from you for a week or two etc. Who know's.. I'm not saying your like that but some are and other's are not. |

What do you really want to be or do in life and yet you never come up with the right answer and or end up in the middle of no where.. leaving you with no reason answer at all. I can say yes in all honestly to this, it's like I know some what.. what I want to do in life, I am just kinda am stuck at the moment finding my way or so it seem's that way to me. Not sure if any body else has ever felt or been in this spot before. ??? I'm sure 99.9% of the earths population has felt this stirring within themselves a moment or two in life. The riddle, though, is different for different people. Being recently divorced has put me into your question.........Who was I before, who am I now, what will I become? Stepping back and looking at what you have accomplished is all well and good....at the Pearly Gates. But you have to be happy with what you do and who you are. When you are comfortable in your own skin, will things fall into place. Im not wealthy, Im not famous, But Im Happy. Good Luck John, TM Thanks, good luck to you as well & every body else. For the most part I am seeing the glass half empty at times instead of half full.. if that makes any sense. Every time I think I might start to get some place where I am getting closer and closer, things get screwed up for me and I for some reason or another end up back in the same spot where I really would like not to be. As I was watching Joel Osteen one night.. saying just like Emeril would say.. we all need a little bam in are life's. Well I could use some right around now.. lol. |

This didn't sound like a break up, more so like he had some business in another part of the world and was telling you how long it would be.
Doesn't make much since inless he came right out and said it's over. |
