My sister who lives in Murrieta California says her power is still out because of the fire and they did it so the power lines don’t spark. Luckily she has a gas powered stove so she can cook for the family and they have generators for their fridge and freezer and my brother in law can grill.

So true . My brother is twice divorced but he’s moved on and has a girlfriend. 1st one married him so her son could have a father then she plays less of a role in her sons life but my parents paid for that one. Second one was bottom line money issues and now she’s remarried and he has a girlfriend which our family likes but then again we liked the first two so you’ll never know what happens on down the line.

I agree too that it does hurt when a spouse does little things for the other and the other doesn’t say “thank you” and so on. If my husband were to do something for me I would try really hard to thank him or do something for him in return. My mom’s aunt had issues where the postman would leave mail for the people who lived on the street behind hers and she would take the mail to them and at first they didn’t seem to happy about it so she went to the local post office and told the person behind the counter about it cause it became a regular occurrence and the worker knew who she was talking about so it seems she wasn’t the only one who complained about it. If something gets our mail and it doesn’t belong to us and know the person then I would give it to them personally but otherwise I put it in the outgoing mail slot.
