They met. He was talking about the other woman with excitement and enthusiasm absolutely not aware of her pain. Or he just didn´t care. Describing the other one´s beauty, intelligence and all her adventages he was lost in his own world of thoughts.

She was listening silently, walking beside him, from time to time glancing at his face, finding only her in his eyes. Didn´t he know that he was cutting her heart apart?

And then she remebered. While they were sitting on the wall of a fountain and while he was talking about the woman he admired so much, she remebered of one moment when she told him of her love and that she wants him to be happy no matter with or without her. “Was I sincere?”, she asked herself. “Do I really wish him happiness? For he is full of happiness now. Do I really wish him that - were my words true?” She searched in her heart and said to herself: “Yes. And again yes. No matter how I feel now, I wish him the happiness that I can see in his eyes!”

Suddenly, she felt change inside herself, she felt flood of the most unexpected feeling she could ever experience in such a moment. Her first thought was that she got mad - it was not possible! But the flood grew and grew, her all being was filled by it. No. She was immersed into that feeling as if she were immersed into the deep ocean, it was beyond her, she couldn´t help herself, only give in to it... Her whole being was bursting with absolute love, unconditional love, even toward all those strangers who were just walking by. And the same love she felt for him and yes, for her too. Her love and her happiness had no limits...

His eyes were on her, open with surprise, and she said: “I love you. And I love her too because she gave you what you were looking for. I wish you all the happiness of the world.”

“I know”, he breathed out, ”You shine.”

She knew she will remeber this moment forever. It was not something from her, but it was a gift, unbeliveble and magnificent gift she got completely unearned, which was way beyond her own abilities. And she humbly looked at the sky and whispered: “Thank you!”
