Heck - if she wants, I'll set up an email account for her and give her all the information so she can change the password and make it her own.

I am 37 and have 20 to 25 wanting to get with me. Five years is not bad, but when your old enough to be their mom... that is wierd. Oh na na.. not happening. Plus have always gone with older men. I'm 38, I've dated women from 21 - 49. I've never had a real huge problem with age differences (depending on the person). I'm too old to spend all my time going clubbing and too young to spend all my time playing golf and drinking ovaltine...as long as the person can meet me somewhere in the middle, I'm a happy camper. |

My apologies if you thought I was saying that everyone who voted for Obama voted for him because he was a visible minority. My conclusion is based purely on the media hype prior to the election when 9 out of 10 people interviewed who stated that they were voting Obama said they were doing so to "be a part of history", and some just plain said it was because they wanted a "black", man in office.
Don't get me wrong - I think you were screwed no matter what candidate was offered...Obama was in waaaaaaaaay over his head, McCain was just another good ole' boy looking to pad the pockets of his "friends", Clinton is slightly psychotic and never would have stood a chance in politics if it wasn't for her philandering husband who made it look like she was the real power behind the throne and Palin...what can I say about Palin....she's hot for a politician, love a woman willing to wear hip waders to an interview :) |

Depends on how much you're willing to spend. I just received my new laptop a few weeks ago and paid through the nose for it but it's by far the best, fastest and most stable system I have ever owned.

Most of the .3 that they didn't get was because they bought a 17" laptop and didn't realize how big it was going to be. Republicans, to be sure, will need to stand for something positive and principled. But right now it seems that the average Obama voter in 2008 is, today, apathetic, troubled, and wavering. I suspect that the big issue is that much of America has realized that they made a huge mistake in trying to force history and voting for someone based on their race rather then their accomplishments, much the same way the Nobel Prize committee did by giving Obama the Peace Prize even though he had only been elected 2 weeks prior to the closing of nominations. Having said that - I do not live in the United States of America and my country has it's own political nightmares to deal with at the moment...hopefully we will learn a lesson and not make the same mistakes in the future. Unfortunately I think it will be a long long time before we see another great President or in my case Prime Minister who will lead us into the future with a renewed pride in our countries. |

I rarely work less then 12 hours a day during the winter and it's usually closer to 16 hours a day and I work on a 3 week rotation, 21 days on 21 days off - on the bright side I take most of the spring and summer off :)
In case anyone was wondering - my main job is driving truck in the Oil Fields, firefighting is more a hobby and I don't count that as a job. |

Flu Shots
|
|
My child has to have them because my child has asthma. Winx.. I am going to have my children vaccinated as well. I have researched and weighed all the pros and cons and I'm making the decision to have us get the vaccination. It's not something I took lightly, it's just the best informed decision I have come to. And to the comment about the dumbed down public, I think that's one huge generalization that is almost as absurd as someone insisting that they would never get the flu or die from it. People ARE dying from it and at a faster rate than the regular flu virus. The statistics from October alone are showing an increasing death rate, and many of those healthy children with no underlying health conditions. It isn't something to panic about, but it is something that every family should be talking over. Bravo!!!! That is by far the most intelligent response I've seen anywhere on the internet (including from both the Government and the Anti Inoculation lobbyists) Because of my job - I automatically go to the top of the list for voluntary inoculations and I occasionally get them but mostly I have found from experience that using a hand sanitizer or washing your hands frequently does just as well. On the same note - people with school aged children should get them (of course thats entirely up to them). I think everyone should actually think about what is best for them and make their decisions based on facts rather then the fear mongering by both the FDA and the Anti Inoculation groups. |

I can't say it makes me scared or angry...sad yes.
I've worked in emergency services for over 15 years. Every year roughly 35,000 die from influenza or ILI (Influenza like illness), Vs. roughly 600 people who have severe reactions to the flu shot causing death. Keep in mind that these numbers are world wide. It has already been confirmed that getting the regular seasonal flu shot this year will significantly increase your chances of contracting the H1N1 strain unless you also receive the H1N1 vaccine. I'm neither for or against people getting flu shots - I just worry that too many people base their decisions on propaganda pumped out by both the FDA and the fear mongering Anti inoculation groups. The "flu" shot is neither as safe as the FDA claims nor is it even remotely as unsafe as the natural medicine people claim. I would suggest, before getting vaccinated that people consult their doctors - especially if you have any allergies or sensitivities to metals or moulds. |

I would say that you'll either have to resize it or adjust the picture quality. If it's a full size image with a 10mp camera, chances are the image is close to a 6mb file size. Although, having said that - I can see your profile pic fine unless it is a different image you're trying to upload.
