Again, as far as God goes, folks are just expected to accept he exsist and call Emotional Response proff of this exsistence. I dont buy it, not saying there is Nothing, just saying the argument for the biblical God is pretty flimsy.
But, as for the statement issued by the church..Im surprised as well this was done publicly, but as was mentioned in this thread it is a public health issue, which only goes to show how much faith they have in the power of God. and a statement like that from a preacher or preist or church says quite simply "God cannot protect you from this." |

The church authorities of my area have issued a communique stating that due to the risk of the porcine flue virus that Holy Water and the wine used in churches would be restricted due to the risk of contamination. My question is if churches are the houses of God and that the wine and the Holy water who is suppose to have been divinely turned Holy, isn't like them saying that all they have told us is a lie. Because if God exist and created all wouldn't he protect is houses (churches) cure the water of any diseases and make the wine pure. If that was true then the authorities would not be afraid of the risk and they would know that God would protect them. Just made me wonder, how about you what do you think? Hmmmmm...the fact that they would issue that statement says they have no real faith in what they expect you to buy, which should automaticly make you question everything that has and will come out of they're mouths. just saying, why should you be expected to have faith in what they preach if they themselves dont? |
