What is your favorite Clint Eastwood movie and why? The guy is a legend, and unless you're 5 years old, you've seen at least one of his movies. What movie is your favorite? And what do you identify with in the role he played?

My favorite Clint Eastwood movie is "Where Eagles Dare". It was an epic production, set in Austria amid a castle fortress. The plot had intrigue, espionage, drama, and shoot'em'up action with a cast including Richard Burton. Additionally, it featured Eastwood in a genre other than "Spaghetti Westerns". This movie was a commercial and critical success. Eastwood flourished in this World War II setting, much as he did in my second favorite, "Kelly's Heroes".

The Spaphetti westerns were the best. He did these Spain, if I am not mistaken, but the landscape looks like AZ.
Clint Eastwood is great.

My top three were Dirty Harry, the Dead Pool, and Escape from Alcatraz. All great movies and all about the underdog.

He's a legend and will always be. He's 79 now, and if he did a movie today, it would still net over $70 million. Everyone has their favorite Clint movie. Dig deep and remember what you identify with your favorite Clint Eastwood movie. We may not have him around much longer. I want him to, but he's 79. Let's celebrate his legacy and filmography. Do you feel lucky, punk? Well do ya?

I'm a big fan and I like them all. However, Fist full of Dollars and For a Few Dollars More are my favorites. The movies broke ground in so many ways and Clint's "man with no name" character became an instant legend. You can still see parts of the character in Clint's new movie about the black/Hispanic gangs.

Yeah, Grand Torino. I would recommend a true fan experience would to be to play a double feature of Fist Full of dollars (Clint's first film) then Grand Torino (this year) and compare the traits of the main character. It is amazing.

Heartbreak Ridge. Outstanding film about an aging S.O.B. of a soldier who refuses to give up, and in fact, comes back for more.

'Unforgiven' is Eastwoods' masterpiece. The film is a meditation on good and evil, violence and The Western as a film genre. be seeing you
