Beautifully written, and I can totally relate. It sucks when you put yourself out there to show the other person all that you can be for them, only to get rejected in the end. I think it scares people to think that someone can be so in love, and feel so passionately about them. I think they fear that it won't last. Everytime I get myself into the same situation you described, which has only been twice, and unfortunately, the same guy, I always think, "what the hell is wrong with me?"

I finally figured it out, and it's that I seem to skip the "friends stage" and always go straight to being a couple. I've learned it's important to establish a good friendship, before becoming a couple, or at least I think, could be wrong, what do you think?
