I thought this arts and crafts forum was about showcasing and bringing the creative side out of the people here on mingle?

why bother making an arts and crafts forum to just talk about it rather than help each other out or give critiques and feedback?

(I must be missing something about the point of an arts and crafts forum!

by the way, nice portfolio...

Wait...I just noticed something?

What gifts does a cat give that are creepy or unnecessary?

cockroaches, mice...whatever they find that they believe will honor you. lol

But thats the thing...they do it to honor you. And would you rather have those rodents and pests running around your house or would you rather have them dead?

Domestic cats are considered one of the most violent animals on the planet. They will kill something strictly for pleasure. Where as most animals do it for food or protection.

lol, well the whole idea behind asking it is to see who chooses what, either they are mostly like a cat (no matter what insect or bug they bring you) or mostly like a dog...just about personalities. smile2

I have a Python...

A little bit of both but I'm mostly a cat, however I don't leave at random and I don't give creepy gifts.

you don't have to do all of what they do, just have some or most of the personality that they do

More like a snake...python to be exsact, lol.

lol, cat or dog?

Mostly like a cat - distant, aloof, agile, love someone when you want to love them, take off when you want, give creepy gifts or unnecessary gifts

Mostly like a dog - loyal, affectionate, loving, stick by someone's side no matter what, always there for them

what did you use to design them?

What type of fantasy do you like to read or watch?

Who is your all time favorite fantasy author?

What is your favorite fantasy movie?

If you where able to escape this planet what kind of race or creature would you like to be?

I like to read fantasy books that includes elves, a little romance, some action assassins and big Ogres. lol

All time fantasy author- Elizabeth Haydon

Fantasy Movie - The never ending story, Lord of the Rings and a few others...Also I've gotten into Merlin on NBC

And if I could be anything, i'd be an Elf

That's just perfect, I like that list. I'm going to save it to my computer so I can remember what a real man is supposed to be like :)

most definitely....and it does.....actual purple-violet skies some nights..... i've never seen skies like that, and wouldn't have believed it if i hadn't seen for myself. really honestly ...purple....with a white skyline....surreal.

i think it's because of the special humidity, and the way the city is lit....don't know for sure, but very....umm different.....yeah.

i wanted to give you a compliment on the black and white as well, and ask if you took it, and what do you look for when you take your pics as far as artificial lighting..... couldn't e-mail ya though

in other words, what did you do to make the lighting happen for that certain pic...i love it! and want to do some of that style...

Due to the Humidity, pollution and the lights, they basically reflect and retract against the sky creating different colors, the haze can really either ruin the sky or make it jump. I see that often here in Utah.

Black and white?

She's NOT the most patient and kind tutor, if ya get my drift ...

BTW ... your screen name sounds so Gaelic ... ??? ...

Care to expand on its meaning ... ??? ...

As always, Kruppa ...

Fantastic work, bravissimo ... !!! ... flowerforyou

Too shy to put mine on the web ...

AND, really too much of a tech~dweebtard to know how ...

Ok, I think I kinda know ... :

.. Scan piece into/onto my 'puter, then somethin' 'bout uploadin to my photobucket acct(that's where I get stuck!!!) and upload to Mingle (also stuck here ... ), yes???

Dunno ... scared

shocked Streuth

Take a deep breath! lol

Just scan it onto computer using your printer or a scanner, then use am image editor like Picasa Photoscape to resize the image so its sized for the web (big pictures on the web take along time to load for some people) Then upload it to Photobucket or Imageshack, then to place here ...you need to use the code:

= bbc forum code, which represents the "image" code to place the image here.

Here's an example:

this = Do you see the line before img? That represents the closed code to place the image on the forum. If you don't close the code your image will not show. It's pretty easy to do. Hope I haven't confused you!

If you need help with scanning or image editing/resizing i'm more than happy to help. waving

i have great pics of insane asylums, and old decrepit mansions from all over, but only one pic i can show, and it's on my profile. the other pics are taken with the oldstyle 35mm, and are not digitized yet. the purposely blurry one here, with a burnt red sky of a second empire victorian sits on St.Charles ave, in New orleans....

Mmm..interesting picture of the Victorian house, you can get some pretty wicked pictures down there if the weather plays right. :)
