last year, i stopped eating rice and carbs for one month and just had veggies and fruits (non-starchy). no fried foods and no sweets. i lost 10 pounds in one month.

during the same time, i exercise, about 30 minutes of fast walking and light jogging, and stretches and the lot.

after two weeks of just veggies, i started eating fish and a little of chicken...and started eating little carbs/bread. for the next 6 months, i've lost a total of 20 pounds.

i've maintained my weight as of today, and i don't choose food. i eat anything now, fried, chocolates, sodas, hard drinks, you name it, i'll eat it. the only thing to remember is, eat in moderation.

=)

good luck to you!

I don't think it's worth dating a guy who requires his girl to know how to cook...talk about shallow. He has to fall in love with me, and not because I could cook.

The funny thing is though, I don't know how to cook. hahaha... My family is into the restaurant business, and I know that most restaurant families have members who can cook (if not all). In my case, only my dad can cook. All the rest are food testers. hahaha...

I never bothered to learn how to cook, coz I grew up with more than 10 chefs at my command. (Geez, talk about being a priss...)

But seriously though, I would love to cook for my family someday. And I kindda like the idea that my bf/husband would teach me how to cook...it's kindda sensual if you think about it...hehehe

i've got to admit that i'm sort of addicted to myspace, mainly for the following reasons: (not in any particular order)
-keeping in touch with long lost friends
-discovering new music (bands/artists)
-getting updates on particular interests
-i love editing the page designs
-blogging

HOWEVER! this is where i found someone really special. and the people here are sooooo nice!

=)

it's such a pointless question, i know. but i was just thinking, let's
say in romantic movies. aren't the characters there better off than us
regular people? at least we can see what's going to happen to them in
the end after a 90-minute show, be it a happy ending or tragic. but in
real life, you have to be patient and see things how it goes...without
that 90-minute limit. maybe i just need to learn to be more patient. but
i don't have to patience to learn that virtue yet! i hate being dangled
on the moment. like for instance, i kindda like this guy online, and he
admits that he's fond of me. but it really bugs me that i can't ask him
if our relationship could be something more than it is now. i can't ask
him coz i'm afraid it might scare him off...on the other hand, i just
can't leave my love life hanging out there in the air. i am scared of
the unknown. or, am i scared of love? ahh...i'm just ranting now...sorry
to bore you lot...
