yeah true to an extent....it a surgery and has its effect on the body...and for a weak you go without eating much food... i did loose weight bt i recovered within few weeks...i dont remeber how much i did loose though....

you mean after the operation..... ?..well soon after the operation i didnt felt much pain for atleast 2 days coz of the anasthesia effect...but after 2nd day....for at least a week i used to get regular severe pain early in the morning which would subside only after taking a pain killer...effect of painkiller use to last till abt 8 hrs...than again i used to get pain in the evening...i could not eat normal food for at least a week....During the operation i felt nothing ...no pain.... for at least 2 days..

yes i use to get regular fever because of tonsil infection....i couldnt eat anything cold as this use to cause tonsil infections...my doctor said that people suffering from this are either very slim or fat... i was very slim at that time...After i got it removed....i could eat anything cold without getting infection and fever...and am no more that very slim guy now...:)

i removed it when i was 18.... was in a lot of pain for atleast a weak.... and yes..ice cream helps......but am happy that i did it.
