Yes Connie I did read that, but my memory is short at times and when it comes to typing..it kind of goes blank..sorry for the not typing it right...but...I did remember them both, and Valentine's Day...that's 3 out of 4--I'm getting better at remembering more...(pats myself on the back for at least some of it right)...and I'm teasing here trying to get you to laugh at least a little...

Man..it's hard enough when you lose your spouse..and a parent--but on Valentines day...I'm so sorry. That has to be rough..my heart goes out to you...I know there's no words that help..but at least you know we're here for you anytime..

If your anything like me- I think I beat myself up 100 times more over things that bother me when most people don't even notice or think about it but I just think that they do.. Sometimes I'm my own worse enemy..lol But your not alone Betty.

I don't think it's terrible of you at all. I just go with my gut instinct, and if I'm not ready to do something then I don't. You may just need more time..and the time may never come. If it doesn't- I know your brother will understand, he knows you think about him and that's the most important thing..

I'm a Texan, married an Okie..he moved us here to care for his parents, his Dad passed away in 2000, my husband died in 2003, now I'm taking care of his Mom..I like this town, but not a whole lot to do though.

Yes, every year is still tough. I've been alone every year so far so I have all the time to think....the first 2 years I stayed all night at the cemetary, and the next 2 have stayed up most of the night. I dread this next one....but, I survived the first 4 so surely I will make it through this one. Have ya'll ever stayed all night at the cemetary? or does that sound morbid? It just felt like that's where I should have been at that time...hard to explain I guess.

It's pretty tight right now on my income..and if it gets much higher..I will be walking to work. I really don't like the idea of drilling for oil here, they've done enough damage to the globe as it is. I wish they could come up with some alternative that would be alot cheaper on everyone. Yes, I'm worried about being out on the street..but..I have a tent and a cookstove..so if worse comes to worse then guess I'm ready for whatever the economy throws at me..I won't curl up and die, I will just weather the storm the best way I can...

Captain..the first year was tough but the second year was the toughest for me. I was used to him being gone months at a time when he was in the military..so that first year it felt more like he was on deployment..but the second year hit me harder than the first...it's normal to me, but I'm not sure everyone experiences that either...

I'm getting frustrated with this head of hair I've got!!! I've always had hair straight as a board, but here lately..omg..it's got so much curl in it I can't do anything with it....wash it, and it looks like a badly frizzed perm...like I stuck my finger in the light socket..sighssssss About ready to shave it off and start all over..lol

Yes, I've gotten it several times....but now they have changed how they vote on it..the employees used to vote, now it's the bosses who do the nominating and choosing...I prefer the employees to vote myself....

Staying single..haven't found anyone man enough to change my mind...

That is so sad, but then I can see how it would be better too. I think about that last night with Jim sometimes and sure wish I would have gone with him that night, and I would either be by his side now, or he would still be here with me...But, I know I can't change what happened...but the what ifs are sure always present. Sure..bring your laundry on over and I will be glad to do them for ya.. I wish I could retire and just stay home doing what I enjoy but I have a feeling I will be working for a long long time ...When I started there I swore I was there until I retired, so I have at least 9 more longggggg years to go...lol

My day was kind of long, but I stayed busy at work. The boss avoided me like the plague all day cause she knew I would have something to say to her if she did come around me.lol But, now I'm home, and just relaxing a little bit before I start laundry..ugh....

Betty..my life has been about as exciting as sinking in a hole..lol. Mine has mostly just been working, then coming home and just sitting here feeling so blah.
