We made reservations at one of our favorite local restaurants. We sat at our special table. The waitress took her time serving us. He ordered a special bottle of wine. The musicians played jazz and blues. After dinner he proposed to me and gave me the ring he picked out totally on his own. I think it's just beautiful. We had some kind of fluffy pastry dessert with pudding, chocolate and strawberries for dessert. I did the traditional feeding him the cake afterwards. It was a beautiful evening.
Sunday we stopped at my parents house and told them. I still have to call my kids to tell them. Not sure how they will react.

no I think he was too nervous. I think he forgot everything he planned on doing. He was still very sweet. We had the entire restaurant to ourselves and 2 musicians played for us.
