Great post. As for those 30-40 year olds clubbing or drooling with 22 year old bubble gum smacking waitresses, shame on your geriatric a$$ is all I say. I usually look at such people the same way a Jew would look at someone with a swastika painted on their forehead *phut*

so 30 is the new 20, but 30-40 makes you geriatric? man life expectancy really went down the toilet.

. . .

Ha ha! Ok, so not 30, but when I see some guy, lets say, pushing 40, hitting up on 18-22 range girls, ummm, whats the point? When I was in my 20's, it was all about finding myself, parties, friends, college, making mistakes that would shape my life.

But hey, if people like 20 year differences then OKEY DOKEY.

I just don't think Slipknot and CCR go together.

Mwahaha
i personally try to keep it within 10 years each way.

. . .

10 years is pretty much perfect IMO due to differences not being so expanded.

As I grow in age, I value women over 40 most of all. Here are just a few reasons why:

A woman over 40 will never wake you in the middle of the night and ask, 'What are you thinking?' She doesn't care what you think. If a woman over 40 doesn't want to watch the game, she doesn't sit around whining about it. She does something she wants to do, and it's usually more interesting. Women over 40 are dignified. They seldom have a screaming match with you at the opera or in the middle of an expensive restaurant. Of course, if you deserve it, they won't hesitate to shoot you if they think they can get away with it. Older women are generous with praise, often undeserved. They know what it's like to be unappreciated. Women get psychic as they age. You never have to confess your sins to a woman over 40. Once you get past a wrinkle or two, a woman over 40 is far sexier than her younger counterpart. Older women are forthright and honest. They'll tell you right off you are a jerk if you are acting like one. You don't ever have to wonder where you stand with her. Yes, we praise women over 40 for a multitude of reasons. Unfortunately, it's not reciprocal.. For every stunning, smart, well-coiffed, hot woman over 40, there is a bald, paunchy relic in yellow pants making a fool of himself with some 22-year old waitress. Ladies, I apologize.

For all those men who say, 'Why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free?', here's an update for you. Nowadays 80% of women are against marriage. Why? Because women realize it's not worth buying an entire pig just to get a little sausage!

Andy Rooney is a really smart guy!

why is it that I am almost 35 , divorced , and feel like I will never meet somone special again

Because you are feeling sorry for yourself. Seriously, we all go through it. But let me tell ya, 30 is the new 20, and the older you get, the more interesting your life becomes. Think about it, would you rather be stuck in your 20's learning all that CRAP over again? Nah, I think I am not only happier in my 30's, but I have learned what I need to know to get through the garbage life can throw me.

Our generation is going against the grain and the more radical ones among us are totally flaunting societal norms.

Keep yer head up. It ALWAYS happens when you are not looking.

Please don't tell me you're one of those people stuck in the 80's that thinks Slayer and Megadeath are Black Metal. -.-

Ha ha ha ha!!! I laughed so hard at that one. He he he. I always thought Slayer was "soft rock". *HA!*
