 Its made of Tungsten Carbide which wont scratch or dent like gold or silver so its should survive where he works. Its supposed to be the toughest hardest material next to a diamond. I thought it looked cool.

I dunno to me its like "were not married" but I am so into you & love you so much...its not a pre-engagement ring sorta thing. I would never propose...Im old fashioned that way. Ive been wearing my ring for a solid year, and Im proud of it. People ask about it and I am proud to say I got it from him. I feel the commitment on the inside and its just a little way of showing it on the outside.

Thanks for the advice! I think that's what I'll get him. I going to pick out a silver celtic knot style that is more casual wear...nothing proper or anything. More the meaning than anything else...that I really love the heck outta this guy!

My 2 year anniversary is coming up! On our first anniversary I got a beautiful promise ring from him which I love. Is it a crazy idea I want to get one for him this year? Would he get made fun of by his buddies? Do guys wear "promise rings"?

Just my opinion, here's my thoughts...
I would shorten it to leave only your main points you want to get across. Interested ladies will inquire about more and thus will write you to ask more about you! Things I would cut...anything negative! Such as how your previous sweetheart left you for a bad boy etc. This may scare away potentials thinking you are holding on to baggage. They want a man who has a clear mind and ready to focus on his future...not his past. Everyone has a history, and if they want to know yours they will ask. Main point: Keep it positive and optimistic...you'll attract the same in return. Good luck! |

Upon getting my current midwestern job, I find myself surrounded with a lot of people who like to mow their lawn, and kill stuff. The speech is not cute colloquialisms, it's just bad grammar. ("I seen that" is a particular favorite of mine). BUT....there is also some plain spoken down to earth wisdom available. 3 people at my place of employment are available for this so far. I always thought you were a fart smeller!  I mean smart feller!
