This young boy may have been mad, upset about having to stay in the car at all. Maybe wanting to go into the store too. To the point of lashing out and it got out of hand. He may have been so mad that he had no one to let it out on and the baby was there, possibly crying. Not meaning to really hurt the baby but to just let out his anger and it got way out of control. He may not be a bad child or even from a traumatic family. Or disfuntional. There does not always have to be a reason from upbringing. Or family issues. He may have never been spanked in his life and was a spoiled child that wasn't accustomed to being told "no", therefore having a fit.
Who knows what really happend? Time will tell. Kat |

Good...in my opinion, porn needs to go. It is demoralizing and sick. Kinda makes sex ugly. Just a bunch of bumping and grinding and moaning all the while havimg no concern or feeling for the other. Pure filth.

Yup, they say they got him. He had stuff belonging to some of the victims. And the gun matched the murder weapons. I am wondering who the other two people were that were with him?
He had a long rap sheet. 25 pages. 2 months out of prison. Are heads gonna roll? Kat |

Obviously the people who are against the don't ask don't tell policy have never been in the military. If you live on the base in the barracks you do not have the option to choose your roomates. When I lived in Norfolk I had two roommates in a small room that were assigned to me that I had never met.In the couple of years I was there I had no less than 20 different roommates over that time. Many of them were people I would rather not be around for various reasons. The last person in the world I would want as a roommate is a gay man.I would not want to come into the room and have to endure gay porn on the TV,nor would I want to have to see gay magazines and books laying around.Rumors would start I was also gay since I had a gay roommate and the military must have put us together for a reason. This would cause alot of discomfort and stress among my friends and co workers. If you have been in the military you know sleeping around with other people(especially in your own command)is rampant. There is alot of flirting, rule breaking, and messing around when there is men and women assigned to the same command. It is not uncommon to hear stories of who is sleeping with who on a daily basis.I had alot of women on my command and I spent alot of time with those women working and then standing a 4 hour watch with them.Needless to say flirting, sexual talk, and many other things was not uncommon.Working with gay men and having to endure their flirting or sexual stories is not something I would want to experience and would not want to hear. If you have ever been aboard a Navy ship or a submarine you know things are very cramped and privacy is very limited. It is not uncommon for ships or submarines to have more people then beds are available and therefore you have people sleeping in torpedo tubes,on the floor,or anywhere where it is quiet. If you do not want to sleep in places other than the racks then you may have to "hot rack" with a total stranger. The term "hot rack" refers to a person waking up from sleep and leaving his bunk and then another person immediately taking over his bed still warm. This could go on for months if space is not avalible.Needless to say I don't think people would want to hot rack with a gay man. Other things that do not go well in the military. Calling the enemy a "silly goose" and saying you will "slap him silly". Rainbow flags on tanks and uniforms. Not being able to march because your anus hurts from last night. Shopping for clothes in the women's section at the exchange. Going to a party and wanting to watch movies like Maid in manhattan,Milk, and The notebook instead of First blood,Evil dead, and the Deer hunter. Sorry to say this, but...you piss me off just alittle. Your view of gays is so slighted. Your own fears worry me. Gay men have more respect than you at this point. They would not be playing it like you say. They would most likely want to stay in an even more cool position to keep their jobs. I guarandamn tee you...there were gays in the navy as well. I have navy members in my family. I have heard them talk of it. Knowing, but not talking about it. Get over yourself man.....you worry too much. As for not being in the military..I have not...but many family members have been and are. I feel it is a problem with some men for reasons other than being afraid of being liked by a man. Comfort in ones own sexuality would give no mind to a gay man, in my opinion. Not saying that a straight man with a problem with gays is gay himself...just not comfortable in his own skin. Silly goose? Now that sounds like my mother. I never hear a gay man say he will slap someone. Kat Thats right you have never been in the military and have no idea what you are talking about.Active people in the military don't want them there. That's why there is never any support from anyone other than the gays in the military. When I was working for the Army we would talk about gays in the military and they were so strongly opposed to them they would rather fight alone than have them as a back up.Say what you want but you try having a gay pride parade on a military base you will probably end up shot, beaten,or thrown in jail. Beaten up? By men like you maybe. Not by open minded fair people. People who don't live in fear of a make believe shadow. I may not have been in the military, but my dad retired military. My grandpa, All my uncles,an aunt,a brother, sons,a sister almost retired. Quit spouting off what you feel and stop trying to say it is what all military feels. Yes, you said "all" in an earlier post. You have such a slender view of the world, its people and the rights of all, that it minimizes you. To say gay is next to cowardace is an insult. You obviously don't know any gay men or lesbians for that matter. How do you think that you would be so sexually attractive to gay men? Do you honestly believe that they are so busy looking at your butt? More like your mouth lol. I know many many strong gay men. They would kick the butts of a lot of straight men. Strong, muscular, manly gay men. The stereotypical gay man is a small majority of what gay is or seems to be. Mostly in the movie era is where they act prissy and sweet. Good luck with that dear. You are not seeing the real picture. Kat |

Kings, Generals,Emperors,Intellectuals, political leaders,Prince's, tzars,There was a cult of male love [man-older youth] in premodern Japan, especially among the samurai classes. This means that virtually all pre-modern Japanese men of a certain class may be assumed to have been "queer" in modern terms.
Presidents? Marquis de Sade 1740-1814, Napolean?,T.E. Lawrence (of Arabia) 1888-1935 ,King Richard the lionhearted, I have hundreds of em. Gay doesn't mean weak. Gay doesn't mean scared. Gay doesn't mean anything..Being human, with a heart and blood running through your veins...means everything. Kat |

All this talk about being in a foxhole with a gay guy....jeeeze...what a crock. Gay men are as much a loyal bunch as any straight guy. You would be so surprised at how many are fighting side by side with straight men. Right now.
I posted last year about a friend that was killed in a car wreck that killed 6 people. He was one of them. He was to be deployed. He was a top scorer in his tests. He had high arms scores. He was a specialist. One would have never known he was gay if he didn't tell them. I know gay heat and air men. General contractors, plumbers, truck drivers. All of them to a straight person would seem the same. Many of the intelligence in the service are gay. Perez Hilton now...he would most likely be very loyal to his troop buddies and very well liked. Most gays are. Anyway..if he were to make it...I can see it now: Bich..oh no you din't....whf? You think you can just come on up in here and just shoot anyone? I don't think soooo. Then there is my olsest son (he is gay) he has a very bad temper when provoked; He would be like; Bich! Thesearemyfriendsandnooneshootsatthemandgetsawaywithit!tatatattat..wtfyouthinkling?tatatattattat You thinkyouso badcomeandgetsomeofthis tatatattat I'llkickyourassandfeedyoutothebugsyouthinkinyouallbadassbich!!(because when he gets mad, I can't understand him...I need to rewind him) Gays in the military have been there for many years. My own son (in Iraq right now) knows some of them. He is in the military. He says they are the most loyal and follow orders better then most. Now the women are a different matter. Not the foot soldier ones but the ones in office. They just piss him off. They have the ranking wrapped around their fingers. He is having problems with some of them now. They cause problems and do not follow rules. He out ranks them and cannot make them follow orders. He is on the verge of taking it way higher to get results. He says they act like they are on vacation and nothing is real to them. Like a war! They break rules all the time and have late night parties in their dorms, keeping them awake. Alexander the great was gay...well known. There are also other well known leaders that were gay and found out later. Now if you want to have a real fighter on your side....hpoe for a lesbian...(don't take any offense) those gals can and will open a can of whoopass. I just saw it happen again this last weekend. Three of them and one big ole boy. The women when the cops got there were like; he hit a woman. lol They took away three women in cuffs, and around the corner was a woman an a man. The woman was bleeding and cut up...but the man...oh man...he was all beat up. Bloody, bruised, bumps all over his head, his chin was bleeding as well. He was cuffed. That gal whipped him all over the place. He was a big guy. I go to gay clubs...these gay guys many of them are big brawny and bold. Tough hombres. Kat |

Whoa...I thought this was about the troops thread??
Hemp is hemp...it was once used widely for many things...not to smoke. It was later grown and made potent to get high on. The true hemp was stronger and makes many things. I am all for them growing it for clothes homes, what have ya....but.......well, you know how I feel. God bless our troops...this fourth of July and always. We...our church and community are getting together to make many boxes to send to my sons unit (units). There are some who get nothing from home. I talked to him today...he sounds depressed. I am worried about him. He has seen things that are bothering him. He is also beginning to worrry about his reception coming home by his wife. Not that she has done anything wrong....but he keeps hearing stories from others how their wives are messing around and he sees the guys doing it too. There are women there that are making him feel less trusting. He keeps hearing that divorces (and separation) are high after deployment. That the kids feel distant...that part is killing him. I am going to try and talk to him soon. I was hoping tomorrow....but volunteered to work early after I told him I would be home in the morning. Please help me in keeping prayers for him and his family and those others that need intervention from a higher power. Thanks Kat |

Sad thing about your comment is this: most of us are worth more dead than alive. Have life insurance? A house? A car? Die....if you have these things....your family will profit from your death. Hense.....worth more dead than alive. If you had cd's and they were left alone by the deseased's family it would grow and become more valuable....still more than alive. Kat Yes sir; and that is happening more and more right now. More people are not insured than ever before. No "owned" homes, no life insurance, but...if they are and do...then they are worth more...agreed? My mom also has no life insurance...we will have to pay for everything ourselves. But, if her house (which I live in with her) were in a will, then we would stand to get some money...more value. Her car becomes and asset. I have no insurance, but my plot and stone are paid for. Just not the service, which can be done in a church (cheaper) and then there is the funeral home. Dang...gotta figure out how to take care of that obstacle. Oh...and the casket...crap. Shoulda done that when I could afford it. Thing is; I was referring to being worth more dead than alive. Many are. It is sad fact...but true. The estate of Michael and others like him will be more lucrative because of his death. It is ashame really...but to the advantage of the children and estate. Which is what he would have wanted anyway..after all...he has lots of debt that must be paid and little left for the estate, until the funds from everything that sells and makes much more now than when he was alive kicks in. Then the children he so loved will have all they need. Not just because, but in spite of his fame. Kat |

From what I have heard it is not outside forces that are responsible for the violence, but sectarian infighting. If they choose not be at peace with one another, who are we to stop them? We have spent how many years now training them to keep the peace. It would appear they are either incompetent or unwilling to do so. Actually there are all kinds of reasons for the sectarian and insurgent fighting. My info tells me it is the Al Quieda, them telling citizens that they are so powerful that "look we are so powerful we are driving the Americans and troops out." The Iraqi people are torn about us leaving. We are after all, spending lots of money there while being deployed. More than they are used too, or wanting to lose. By keeping us there the markets and such make money. The insugents are making a stand to see just what the Iraqi soldiers can stand or give back. Without the Military there to stand by them.l'd have thought knowing we were pulling out would make them at least wait til we were gone to make their wars again. Our soldiers cannot make a move in the cities without council between the Irai government and us. We can defend ourselves, but with caution. It is still very dangerous for our guys and gals. Kat |

I do not know why they moved this to well wishes, this is current events. Sigghhhh...........whatever
Jeeze...anyway...we all need to remember that this war is far from over and just beginning again, making it an even more dangerous place to be even when we are supposedly beginning a pullout. By pulling out of the cities they in effect are blinding themselves to imminent dangers. Kat |

Finally after three days of blackout:
I just talked to my baby there for over an hour and folks; it isn't pretty what is happening over there. I can't say much...but he told me that the bombs and deaths over there right now is ugly and very bad. He happens to have info that can't be shared here, he asks for everyones prayers and thoughts. He says we need to remember what is still happening. It isn't over..it isn't safe, it is getting worse for now. He is a little depressed as many are. They have to live with what is going on while we here at home have no clue. He says they and he, are mostly trying to keep their thoughts as to how to help and figure out how to stay ahead of the dangers rather than the actual actions still occuring. I guess it is how they deal with it. He will not say; but assures me if he feels like it when he gets home, he will tell me all.(I am not so sure I want to hear it) But, if he needs to talk, I will most certainly listen, hug, and love him through it. Please send prayers for our soldiers still fighting an ugly, devious and new type of war. A war that has so many hidden and deadly threats. Kat |

Keep praying for our troops.
I was chatting online with my son when all of a sudden ...poof...he was gone. It scared me and worried me. IT WAS BECAUSE WE LOST 4 MORE SOLDIERS OVER THERE ON THE 29TH. They always cut off internet when they lose troops, or something happenes that they cannot let it out on the net before they handle it internally. Please keep praying for them to return home safely. If it is greedy to want to make money or have it grow for a nest egg for the future...then yes....many are guilty of that. People who try and find every single little deduction to the point of cheating are doing the same thing.
That is what envesting is; envesting to make your money work for you. Hopefully to watch it grow and have retirement funds to retire on. You just have to figure out how and who to trust with your money and envestments. This madoff was a crook ito the nth degree. He knew what he was doing. He was scamming and taking the trust of people he knew and using them to get people they knew and so on and so on. A simple pyramid scheme pulled on the rich and rising. He was good. He was very good. He has a few years to live with what he did to all those that he hurt. Those also include widows he purposed to help. Retirees....so many. Kat |
