Direct, in my opinion and only my opinion for me.. I don't think anyone can make me happy.. I have to be happy on my own within myself and that special person will enhance that happiness and we'd enjoy our lives together but I feel that if I'm not meant to meet that special person then I will be content and happy with my life and choices as I've made them... ^^ I agree with her disagreement. If one looks to another to "make them happy"...they will evitably end up eternally miserable. If one is not happy with their aloneness, then they can never appreciate how how another is only there to ENRICH their inner happiness. I'm a tad confused on how to post here...given I do agree with Cosmo's post that "we all need somebody", but I'm not certain to what degree she is speaking - humanistically or romantically? 
I think she meant "humanistically" at least that's what I'm going with... 
yess meant it humanistically. :))) starting a relationship because you are not happy with yourself and expect the other to make you happy is kind of fooling yourself and the other. |

Yeah for sure, but I have never seen someone who is happy cuz his lonely for ever. people need to interact and share, buttt that's my opinion. :) Andd someone's action can definitely have an effect on you. Think of spending time with someone who is negative and pessimistic. Or on the other hadn someone who's making you laugh and gives positive energy. |

Someone else can't make you happy,maybe only for a sudden moment.. but sharing a simple moment with someone who you like/love/fun with will be 2 people who are happy, so more hapeniss then being just happy for yourself with yourself and by yourself. :D
