yeah, you cant act like you are in public, just saying hi looks like you want them to make the move. just read their profile and use that, if not enough info use one of your goals to strike a conversation. worse case they dont find you interesting or attractive to continue. dont give up though, think of that as learning experiences and you will know what to say with the next ones.
