And how would such a promotion help you? Western countries are full up with people of colour so plenty of choice if we want to. No need to get more in, so it still wouldn't get you free entry into a Western country.
It is peculiar that it is almost always people from your country that come up with this stuff.

Well my dear, like I said everyone has their opinion, white, black, Asians and Indians can be found in any part of the world, not only in the western world, am sorry if you feel that this kind of Opinion is only prevalent in a particular part of the world, maybe you should have a reconsideration on that. I personally would want to marry a White lady because I have a deep passion for Interracial Offsprings..try not to judge my decision or love for something just because I come from a particular "country" like you said.. not everyone should be bad..thank you..

So what if a lot of white women -according to you that is- do not want to date a black man? Why does that bother you? Why do you want a white woman? What's wrong with a black woman from your country? With your attitude you are rejecting black women which could be considered a racist attitude.

Personally I find the way many black people think concerning this topic very off-putting and also concerning. Slave trade of white women is still very active after all, even after hundreds of years.
I want to be treated like a human being, a person, not some asset or someone's status symbol.
And when it comes to dating I am looking for love, like most people really.

dear, am just trying to get individual opinion.. everyone is entitled to date who ever and where ever they find love..being it with a black or white man or Woman..

I find it very interesting regarding the emphasis on "interracial" when ethnocentrism and a form of "tribalism" was and still is (in my opinion) quite a significant factor...and this is not limited to Western cultures......

within the community I grew up in, social economics and whether you were from "the other side of the tracks" determined whether I could date the doctor's daughter and she was my skin color...Certain girls dated only "jocks"; the bookworm didn't stand a chance in heck...Spike Lee's movies touch on many of these points...even in some African countries, tribalism still determines who a person can date...

some may consider progress based on whether an Indian woman chooses to date me or not...meanwhile the Black woman who prefers "jocks" still ignores me (LOL)

lol..you just hit the nail on the head..exactly what I meant..even in African cultures too..such are still prevalent

There's nothing wrong with love!

yes, love should know no boundaries or limitations. Have you been in an interracial relationship before. you sound like you have been in one.

sure, it all comes down to individual choice and decision, but to be candid, my opinion though , not speaking as an African here but as a Realist, the offspring of African and white copulation are the moment beautiful combination you would ever see..been it Asian, Indians etc..I think interracial relationship should be promoted more.

most

As a confession, I always admired the Asian culture and always wondered what it would be like to date a Japanese woman. Other than that, I don't really have a preference or look for any racial traits in a person I am interested in.

You pointed out something that is prevalent in western culture. We make such a big deal on race because race was made a big deal throughout our history. As far as dating goes, it wasn't that long ago when interracial dating could've gotten the man of color killed. On the flip side, the female of color would more likely than not get raped by the oppressor.

Somewhere in between now and that extreme, the idea of interracial dating was known as "Jungle Fever". It was more of curiosity of the other side than actual love (I really hate that movie btw).

We've come a long way since back then in regard to interracial relationships, but its threads like these that make me think that humanity has a long way to go before we truly feel we are all equal...

yes..I also support interracial relationship anytime anyday

It has also been noted in this forum that this seems a favorite topic of many men from Africa on this dating site...have yet to see the same questions regarding Asians or Indians or Eastern Europeans...why is that?...why this focus on white women?...

I have known women of different skin color (including African and American Black) and various ethnicities whose preference does not include Black men...I don't view a persons preference regarding who they choose to date as a negative if it does not include me...nor do I consider their preferences something they have to explain or justify..."some do and some don't" is an adequate summary

sure, it all comes down to individual choice and decision, but to be candid, my opinion though , not speaking as an African here but as a Realist, the offspring of African and white copulation are the moment beautiful combination you would ever see..been it Asian, Indians etc..I think interracial relationship should be promoted more.

One, no difference, as we had similar upbringings and education (actually, he was a lot more educated than I am). The other three, yes, I did notice some cultural differences, even though we were all from the same country. I live internationally and I will not date anyone from any of the countries I've lived in. The cultural differences are too big.

Well, I could say you are indifferent to alot of things having travelled around so many places, I just feel some white ladies tend to stereotype on their choice of dating..but it's good to see one like you who don't believe in such ideology

My thoughts on it? I don't think twice about it. I've dated a small handful of black men in my life. My daughters sometimes date interracially.

The last black man I dated seemed uncomfortable about what other people's perceptions might be. He did not like to hold hands in public or any sort of PDA. It never occurred to me to care about that.

for all the ones you dated previously..do you feel any different in the relationships as compared to dating a White guy..
