Finding his words scary sitting on her broom the previous poem puts love in this room Homeward Bound Dark wind swirls around me As my flight leaves the ground Thoughts of you fade upon me As I lay my tired body down The cold city now left behind me I focus only now on you For it was your smile and angelic voice Gave me hope and saw me through I fly on silver wings into the night To my home I now return As this mighty bird draws closer now The embers of love began to burn In blissfull dream I hold you near never to let go For lightning has indeed sruck twice and set my heart aglow I am awakened from the perfect dream As the flight touches down I make my way to an awaiting car For the lonley drive to my town Rain pelts softly on the windshield As I pull into the drive My thoughts focused on you alone Keep the dream of love alive Words now placed in poetic order To scribe just how badly you were missed Wanting you near to hold on to Your tender lips I long to kiss As I rest myself within my home my feelngs written for all to see I can close my eyes and again dream of you Now given my heart to you from me.
