LDR are HARD,
I am in one right now, younger lady I met on another site, yes, she is real, we have had two face to face dates so far, planning on seeing her the end of this month. Real problem for us is that she has teenage kids at home, a great career, and a beautiful place, I have no one in Kansas, but have had a successful business here for 20 years. She is in NW Illinois, we are almost 700 miles apart, I really like her and she thinks I'm the best thing since beer??? But I just can't see either one of us packing up and leaving. We are just going to be adult about it and see each other when we can, if for any reason one of us finds a great person close we have agreed to bow out gracefully, who knows what will happen? |

In Kansas it took 61 days for everything to get through the court, but it was amicable with no kids involved, but I also always wondered why people just didn't cut the cord.
Then just two days ago I was chatting with a women that has been separated for 8 years, I asked why, the reason was her husband was on disability and if divorced she would get nothing (and she had the kids) as long as they were separated, she still had a right to some income??? As far as the OP goes, get it over with, it will be a weight off your shoulders, even if you don't realize it right now. JMHO. |

Well catinidaho, If you don't mind the ride being in a big truck I do get all over the lower 48, I own the truck so I can/do pick and choose where I want to go.

I don't have any issue with being late 50's the problem is, I literally still feel 35, still race cars, still ride a sport bike, still in good shape, I need a 50 y.o. women that still feels 35!!!!
