We do have monsoonns late june through august but mainly winds.The rain may last 30 minutes and thats it.

Hello songster I am in az also.I hardly get out to do anything or go anywhere. My life has been working and going home.It seems strange to go home to a empty house...my husband has left me and went back to australia, that is where he is from ,we were married for 10 years.Recently my son and his wife and I have all been going to church together.It is a big help but I do not want to depend on them.I am just interested in finding friends and get back to life a bit.Its nice to meet new people and make new friends.

Same here!!!!It used to be people would ask how old I was and would be shocked when I told them my age(this was before I hit 50)now I tell them how old I am..and I am waiting and waiting....but they do not tell me that anymore!!!sad I have never liked having my picture taken..all my life..ask my son...now he is the same way.

I am a widow living in Dallas. I was married for 31 years. My late husband had Parkinson Disease the last 16 years of our marriage and it was a hard road. It is very hard to start living life again after being married so long and living alone is not much fun either. I am hoping to meet some friends in here.
Hello...I just joined up last nite.Everyone here seems to be friendly...and with a sense of humor which is good!!!!Guess all we can do is take one day at a time........will more than likely be seeing you around.
