 Is it possible to be in love with someone even if they don't love you?
Mirror, it happen's because of the interaction between the two people. I don't think it's so one sided.
bigsmile i agreeflowerforyou

Very true, I've been in both sides. It's the connection.

yes, and more: being true love, you'll be happy for him when he is ok with someone else AND you don't feel pity for yourself. Only for special souls winking

When women become lonely or going through a separation period after a failed relationship, they usually end up having pets, like dogs, because they need someone or something they can trust and trust is returned.

Lonely men or men who feels being betrayed or separated or never found that particular partner will put his interest into various activities, such as working in the garage (cars motorcycles etc) or politics and other discussions, but also may end up getting pets to minimalize the feel of being alone.

After a while, both (men and women) realize, that no pets and neither any other sort of activity can replace of having a partner.

I have my pets before my divorce, you cannot replace people, you replace things. When you are very confortable with yourself, everything comes to you naturally.

Would you take over their personality?

I'm appalled by the whole concept of anybody changing who they are for, or by, another person. What you see is what you get; if you don't like it, stay away. It ain't broke and it don't need fixing. And I'm not gonna mess with theirs, either.

Where would you go? And why?

Hawaii. Beautiful year round. Even Florida can't say that.

 I love both but still, old Europe is the best, the culture, the magic, everything.

yah probably but I don't want to come off as stuck up tho...

be who you are. say what you just did.

"I dunno finding someone to talk to would be nice though.. I'm not looking for a husband or anything like that. I would just like to enjoy a civilized conversation now and then"

nothing wrong with that at all...and you can add that you aren't looking for one nighters or intimate encounters, etc.

just be yourself. people will either like you for you or notflowerforyou

when I'm in a bad mood or having a bad day I like to go to the playground and watch the kids. They run and jump in innocent joy. These little kids have never had their lives scarred by fear or terror and they just play with gleeful abandon.

I decide which kid is having the most fun and I run over and knock him down and yell "RAWRRR" and chase all the kids off the playground screaming in terror

that cheers me up

there u are laugh I thought u wouldn't delight us in this topic

here's a train and only one band absolutely

Journey - Don't Stop Believin

Just a small town girl, livin in a lonely world
She took the midnight train goin anywhere
Just a city boy, born and raised in south detroit
He took the midnight train goin anywhere

A singer in a smokey room
A smell of wine and cheap perfume
For a smile they can share the night
It goes on and on and on and on

Strangers waiting, up and down the boulevard
Their shadows searching in the night
Streetlight people, living just to find emotion
Hiding, somewhere in the night

Working hard to get my fill,
Everybody wants a thrill
Payin anything to roll the dice,
Just one more time
Some will win, some will lose
Some were born to sing the blues
Oh, the movie never ends
It goes on and on and on and on

Dont stop believin
Hold on to the feelin
Streetlight people
Journey is like diet poprant noway

Saw Fleetwood Mac in either 77 or 78 at the old Capital Centre in Landover, MD. Festival seating. Get there early and stampede to the best seat you can find. Banned after The Who trampling in Cincinnati. Rumours Tour. Great show.

I just can't remember who the opening act was.

lucky you all
