It just came to me when I read this, no one writes like you. Climbing up into the clouds at blinding speed towards a full moon.
I fly in an arc till I feel weightless, then rushing over the top and back towards earth. Swooping in just over the tree tops I fly faster than a bullet at the speed of sound. A wind behind me is warm and causes the trees to bend in my wake. Some of the treetops actually catch fire in my passing. All is a blur now as the shock waves gather behind me. Blowing away everything in my path. Until all is brite as the sun comes up over the horizon. Straight towards it I fly, until I am swallowed by its heat. DB 1/31/2008 |

A filthy grime covers the doorway behind me.
Leaking out from the cracks along the edges. The door bulges against the weight behind it. If it should be opened what might happen ? Would I be choked by the pain, and hurt ?
