You had low self esteem around him because of his good looks and felt unworthy, and because he knows he is good looking he is wondering how you could not want to be with a hunk of man like himself. heh..pretty much on the spot.. i always feel unworthy in my relationships.. its a self esteem thing..that im trying really hard to fix :( it sucks... |

Well, I'm guessing if you posted this you're asking for advice. It sounds to me like this is on you. I mean, it seems to be more about how you are feeling about yourself, rather than something he did or said to make you feel bad about yourself, would that be correct? Most of us women have to work on our self confidence from time to time. Take the time to do that. I notice at first you say "there was always something kinda off". I think you should explore that more. well it pretty much means i was never really myself around him.. that was the "thing" that was always off. im normally a goofball..and like to joke alot.. and i felt i couldnt do that around him.. now maybe then i shouldnt have pursued a relationship then.. but i didnt realize it till later... |

so my ex boyfriend from not that long ago..(4 months ago...but we only dated for 2 months)
decided to text my best friend..and ask why exactly i broke up with him.. his exact words *i figured since you two are close..that maybe she confided in you and told you something she wasnt telling me.i want to know what it was that made her fall out of love with me* i did love him..i did.there was always something kindof off though.for some reason i just couldnt be myself around him.i honestly thought he was too good looking for me..and his friends were the kind that i didnt feel comfortable around... im not trying to sound stupid.. but really all the people he hung out with were gorgeous.. i def felt out of place... so i tried to just tell myself that i was crazy..and to get over it.. but i couldnt.. and thats not fair to him if i dont feel comfortable around him.. and i started to feel like just close friends after a bit too.. i dont totally know what caused it either.. but to be fair..i broke it off.. because he deserved to be in a relationship with someone that could feel the same way he did. BUT NOW...he wont leave it alone... and it bugs me :( and it makes me sad.. and i dont know what to do about it.. meh... |

If the enemy of atheists is religion, and the future without religion where only atheists exist, then the next enemy for the atheists will be "other" atheists. One guy quoted that "other people are hell." I think this is relevant to reflect on. there will never be a world without religion.. there will always be a person..or a group of people that will not follow what everyone else is doing. its what makes us human i guess.. so no..i dont think this is relevant to reflect on...at all. AND...religion isnt an enemy to athiests.. atleast not to me it isnt.. and im sure other athiests feel the same. i do not degrade other people who believe in something. if they do..then thats great for them. therefore....religion isnt an enemy at all. a good example of people keeping their faith...and believing in what they want..depite the consequences (though it may not have much relevance to this topic) were people during the time when hitler was alive and terrorizing the jewish people. some of them were given a chance to live... BUT it meant two things...they had to follow by hitlers rules.. and pretty much abandon their beliefs.. a lot of people that were offered this..decided their faith was more important than life.. so they denied it and were killed. so this could happen again.. if religion were to ever become illegal or whatever.. i can guarantee that a large amount of people would continue to believe in what they want.. even if it meant they would die for it... i hope maybe i got my point out there.. im so aweful with this kindof thing :/ yeah thats true... haha well thanks |

"baby steps" i saw this film 2 or three years ago i found it hard to stay with but glad i did i think alot of people miss the point of this film witch is its not an escapest movie or "story" but a hard look at rea life. i had to look on line to find out who wrote it cos im like that (sad) and so have a useless fact 4 you, it Was originally going to be filmed in and around Canberra and the nearby Lake George, but there was a drought on Australia's eastern seaboard so the lake was totally dry. because a body of water is a focal point for the film, the setting was changed to Jindabyne in the Snowy Mountains, because the drought's effects wernt as severe. full off useless crap me  no thank you..thats awesome i love random facts hehe |
