that whole article is stupid. now I know what they think about us in the west. we have totally different views here. and all that nazi-soviet pact is irrelevent. soviets were aware of Hitler's plan for Europe and knew war was envitable with Nazis. to defend the motherland one has to go certain heights. Stalin was ways suspicious of Hitler. it was just a non-aggression pact(not like an alliance) because Stalin wasn't prepared for Nazis. if it wasn't for soviet union, Nazi Germany would have annexed whole Europe(accounting 2/3 of casualties on eastern front) but sure when the Nazis marched for London, uncle Sam had to intervene. but that's another story.

and do you know what it means if Ukraine joins EU? it's in Russian sphere of influence. its obvious the west wants to contain Russia and they're readily expanding the NATO alliance towards our borders which I'd indeed a national threat
. I'm not sure but I've heard USA promised not to expand NATO any further after dissolution of soviet union. No one wants war and there will be no war just tensions rising.

only possible scenario I can imagine is of NATO countries on one side vs the BRIC nations on one side. after Crimean crisis the tensions have been raised to cold war levels. 30 reconnasiance planes interecepted in one month during the end of 2014. after the economic sanctions on Russia, the west has forced us to join hands with the east. probably China and Less likely India. I fear this could turn bad.
