What about your city/town do you like? What do you think would interest others and make them want to visit? Let us know what's great about where you live. It's just a nice little lake, nothing special about it really. That's what I like about it. It's nice in the summer time to enjoy the lake and beach. There's the state park, nature trails, free movie nights, etc. It has a bit of an interesting history as well. Also, there's some nice places in the area. I love the lake

I wish you well OP. I think you have the right attitude. I giggled to myself when I read that someone found it off-putting for a fat girl to have confidence. Confidence is not measured in pounds.....it's measured in self worth and pride for the person that you are. It's all encompassing, not just a visual peek in a good mirror.

Why do people feel they have to be validated to fit in? "Am I hot", "Am I Pretty", and "Do Men Like A Little Meat On The Bones" etc..... I read these threads and wonder, why does no one tell them there is no need to be validated other than me? Isn't the number one rule for a successful life and relationship "to love thy self"? I totally agree... Does this new pic make me look fat? What happened to your face? 
I wanted to look classy, so I shaved. But you got rid of the best features. The eyes, the nose, the smile

I really didn't see the one post as her needing validated. I just sort of took it as she was putting herself out there and trying to attract the kind of men that liked what she had to offer. It's all in context I guess. Sort of a newbie thing maybe. :P I somewhat agree Heather, though there have been several. Even as a newbie I never asked because I am proud of who/what I am. |
