I disagree. My first marriage ended after 5 years (he passed away).
The second went 10 years. His infidelity (and the child he sired) came
home to roost, and he was so embarassed at being busted, that he ducked
out.

Seeing each of them for the first time ~ it was a feeling that cannot be
described, nor compared. We just "knew".

In my opinion, domestic violence is much more heinous than simple
assault. Hurting someone you share your life with is inexcusable.

I completely believe in self defense, and believe that some women are
wrongfully imprisoned today for killing their abusers. Yes, they should
leave their abuser...if they can. But if backed into a corner
(emotionally or physically), I can see them reacting to repeated abuse
and snapping.

I got a "wake up call" from a special man down in Florida.
Put the coffee on,
fed 7 dogs,
did 2 loads of laundry,
swept and washed the kitchen and family room,
went online and bugged my friends,
turned on the "SWAT" marathon,
and fell asleep.

What's for dinner?

Maybe she was worried that you weren't "into her". Some folks are
hesitant to say, "Hey, let's ditch the movie and tear up some sheets"
for fear of being rejected.

You could call your County's Agricultural Extension Agent and have them
come by to identify it.

Why kill it? It's just wanting a home...just like the rest of us.

I would prefer a physical relationship to be local (duh!), but you can
be friends with someone across the oceans! I e-mail and IM with alot of
service members, and have met some when their rotations were up.

When I first signed on here, I tagged a man down in Florida. We
e-mailed a couple weeks, went to private e-mail, then to IMs, and now he
calls every day ~ sometimes more than once! This morning, he surprised
me with a "wake up call" so he could be the first to tell me 'Good
morning'...

He's already booked his flight, and will be coming here for 3 days at
the end of the month...

Sounds like she knew she wanted more from you, and kinda was making you
"step up" and decide. She had ALREADY decided...LOL!
