I agree with trae, 80%. I say that because out of the last 10 people
that I met out in the "real world" only 2 were actually single! What's a
girl to do?

what do you consider to be a nosy, instrusive question?

Nowadays, you have to ask questions! People no longer fall into the
standard categories: single, married, gay, straight, with children,
without children, etc. I once met a guy who was TOO CUTE. We had a lot
in common and our conversations were so good, it was like we had been
friends for years. Chemistry off the chain. While meeting for drinks
with friends, we started having a random discussion about life,
relationships, you know how we do. Well, his friend was talking to mine
and he was married (which we already knew), but as the conversation
progressed, it turned out that my guy was married too! Totally
caught me by surprise. No ring, no ring marks, we talked on the phone
late at night...no signs what so ever. Turns out, he was able to get out
as frequently as he did due to his wife's work scheduele. Now, had I
asked more questions up front, I would have found this out and not
wasted my time. Don't you agree?

We are all passengers on that boat at one time or another. I wonder the
exact opposite(any good men left?)! I think that there are still truly
good men and women out there, but I think that a lot of people are
caught up in what they can have right now as opposed to what is right
for them. We are living in a "disposable" society. I know so many men
and women who claim to want a person who is like A,B and C, yet they are
with a person who is Q,F, and W! It makes no sense. Coreyfate, look at
it this way, yeah they are losers for hurting you, but you'll do better
in the long run because now you know the signs and can better determine
the type of person that you want. It's hard out here, but keep an open
mind (forget about the past people) and enjoy life!
