umm...you haven't really seen much of the world, have you...

The museums are jokes.
The food sucks. Ok, the restaurants have gotten better in recent years, but the grocery stores are still very limited unless you like fried..everything.
Bars? you use a plethora of bars as an example of how good it is here? seems like that should show how desperate it is here...
Oh yes the lakes. Let's go and see the water sources we like to poison. Yes that'll be fun. Want to go for a walk by the lake under the moonlight? Sorry, you'll be arrested for trespassing if it's after 11pm.
We have molehills people like to make into mountains.
Forests? please. We have overgrown bushes w/ delusions of grandeur.

And the rest..are merely distractive parties to keep one from thinking how little culture and intelligence is in this state. If one has a brain, this state suckith mightily.
There's a very good reason why it's cheap to live here. Anyone with a brain doesn't want to and tries to get out if they can.

ummm... you're just bitter aren't you?

What is funny is when I was in Toledo, Ohio, it appeared that every other person I met was from Oklahoma and they were all trying to get back. (I swear it was at least 15 different people.) I am not sure what part of Oklahoma you have stuck up your ass but, yeah... I would move if I were you or start making plans to. There is a reason I did not stay in Ohio... also, your eloquent text does not frighten me. Its not like I am a threat or anything; I just happen to enjoy the state I live in.

You should be ashamed for trolling and trying to bring my image of something I enjoy down to your level.

Tulsa is better! You can always drive to OKC if you need to visit. I lived in OKC for a month and a half and I honestly didn't like it nearly as much. I hate the lay out of the city... its done in for quadrants that don't match up. That and there is no QuickTrip just SevenEleven.

I've lived in this state for the majority of my life with short stints in about 3 other states. I enjoy Oklahoma immensely. There is so much to do, you just have to figure out where it is. We have museums galore, all kinds of bars, about every type of food you could ever want brought to you by at least three or four different restaurants of the same genre. We have a crap ton of lakes, we have mountains/cliffs, we have prairies, we have some swampish land, we have desert, and even forest. There is the Tulsa Air and Space Museum. There is Oktoberfest, Mayfest, Herbal Fairs, State Fairs, Circuses, Zoos, Amusement Parks, Caves... all kinds of stuff. One great part is that a lot of it is free or cheap.

Oklahoma is graced by having low costs of living, some of the friendliest people ever, good schools, and no bad traffic. Don't try to tell me we have traffic jams... go take a drive in Salt Lake City, Chicago, or New York and then tell me we have traffic. I know it can get boring but you just have to know where to look and what there is to do.
