I don't think of the blood type diet as alternative medicine; just a healthier way to eat based on the origins/heritage of your blood type. Avoiding white bread, white sugar, drinking healthier types of milk, etc. I liked this diet when I was on it. I'm type A...so soy protein, grains, and veggie are best for me. Used to bake my own bread and stuff like that. I want to get back on it one day. Always felt better on the diet.

A few other people had mentioned they had felt better after following blood type diet guidelines.

I supposes I could run the idea past the pediatrician and see what his thoughts are regarding foods being possible migraine trigger's.

My five year old occasionally gets migraines as a way to help lesson the frequency of his migraines the pharmacist recommended finding out what blood type he is as according to the Pharmacist his migraines could be triggered by foods his blood type cant handle. Here is a link for more info http://www.webmd.com/diet/blood-type-diet. http://dadamo.com/

The only reason a was slightly considering getting his blood tested is when I was informed that Motrin and Tylenol for pain can damage the liver. Sending him to a specialist is also a gamble because of his age the treatment for migraine prevention would be iffy since not many children his age get them.

I think that using alternative medicine for things like cancer instead of the required treatment is wrong. But I have not been in that situation so I don't know it another thing when your in that persons shoes I guess.

Stop Bullying on the Spot

Two students fight in classWhen adults respond quickly and consistently to bullying behavior they send the message that it is not acceptable. Research shows this can stop bullying behavior over time. There are simple steps adults can take to stop bullying on the spot and keep kids safe.

Do:
Intervene immediately. It is ok to get another adult to help.
Separate the kids involved.
Make sure everyone is safe.
Meet any immediate medical or mental health needs.
Stay calm. Reassure the kids involved, including bystanders.
Model respectful behavior when you intervene.

Avoid these common mistakes:
Don’t ignore it. Don’t think kids can work it out without adult help.
Don’t immediately try to sort out the facts.
Don’t force other kids to say publicly what they saw.
Don’t question the children involved in front of other kids.
Don’t talk to the kids involved together, only separately.
Don’t make the kids involved apologize or patch up relations on the spot.

Get police help or medical attention immediately if:
A weapon is involved.
There are threats of serious physical injury.
There are threats of hate-motivated violence, such as racism or homophobia.
There is serious bodily harm.
There is sexual abuse.
Anyone is accused of an illegal act, such as robbery or extortion—using force to get money, property, or services.

Angelina Jolie Pitt bringing Canadian young adult book to the big screen

Wednesday, August 12, 2015 | 6

Academy Award-winning actress Angelina Jolie Pitt has signed on to executive-produce an animated film based on Canadian author Deborah Ellis's book The Breadwinner.

First published in 2000, The Breadwinner is a young-adult novel about an 11-year-old girl named Parvana, who lives in Kabul. Unable to earn money as a girl, Parvana disguises herself as a boy to support her family when her father is taken away by the Taliban. In 2014, Nobel laureate and teenage activist Malala Yousafzai praised the book in The New York Times, saying "The Breadwinner reminds us how courageous and strong women are around the world."

Jolie Pitt, who will serve as executive producer through her production company, Jolie Pas Productions, said: "Millions of young girls like Parvana are growing up today under oppression or conflict, and helping their families to survive in those conditions. This story is a reminder of the immense value of their contribution." Jolie Pitt has announced that she will donate all profits she receives from executive-directing The Breadwinner to support the education of Afghan girls.

The Breadwinner will be directed by Irish filmmaker and animator Nora Twomey, who was nominated for an Oscar for her animated feature film The Secret of Kells. The film is currently casting and is set for release in 2017.

Defense attorney Danny Moore said Austen — who has six previous convictions, one for possessing amphetamines in 2010 — is ashamed to be in court again.

But Austen, who admitted cocaine possession with intent to supply, avoided jail as she was handed nine months in jail, suspended for a year, and ordered to complete 250 hours of community service.

this is an inflammatory story and i would appreciate knowing the whole story not just one persons statement as its not possible to ascertain anything without knowing the whole story from both sides as medication is administered in psy hospitals when folks are acting out violently and i am not accusing just would like to know the entire story before the typical rush to judgment .This type of reporting is manipulative as various motives of racism, aggression are all presented with out context leading others to be emotionally stimulated for a myriad of purposes least of which being the truth...

I agree. thats the reason for the title

will the evidence prove or refute the claim?,,,,

What are your thoughts? It does seem over the top but could be true I am on the fence.

my t hought is there could be alot more to them taking her from the location

and there could be a totally seperate second incident at the site of the car pickup that cited the mental detention

however, I cant figure out why medical RECORDS would indicate a requierment for her to refute three facts that actually WERE easily researchable and documented FACTS

namely, the ownership of the car, her occupation, and her twitter followers,,,

such a medical record would need to indicate much better rationale for injecting someone with drugs and committing them,,,

So basically she was stopped for owning a BMW if they thought it was stolen wouldn't arresting her make more sense? Wouldn't they have to prove the car was stolen. So many questions that is for sure.

I found this article as well

They diagnosed her as bipolar sent her to a mental health institute and injected her with drugs because of a car. Really ... that is seriously wrong.

She did not have anything previously stating of a mental health problem ? That is weird.
The leap from having a car to being given drugs is terrible reporting as too much is not presented and false inferences are readily made with this type of information being presented in such a biased and unprofessional way... It is possible that she does have mental problems that have yet to be identified too this is terrible and unfair to all involved...

Then you can contact the Huffington Post and tell them your concerns.

Ok, I understand the desire some men have to save money on everything. I have to ask the women out there though, would you marry a guy who got your ring in the same place he buys his tires, Doritos, and squeeze bottle salsa?

Regarding the legal case, I guess if Tiffany sent a cease and desist letter at some point, and Costco keeps using the name, then we have a case to go to trial with. If however Costco had done this for years without a peep, then I think Tiffany has little to say in the matter of recovering damages. The court simply orders Costco to stop, and everyone moves on.

Umm, I got my ex wife's engagement right at Wal-Mart lol.

Well... enough said then :)

I like the jewelry at Peoples then at least it last longer. I am glad that the customers who thought they were buying Tiffany's are getting a refund according to the article sales people were also saying that the rings were Tiffany.

Tiffany said a subsequent investigation revealed rings in a display case at the Huntington Beach Costco labeled with the word "Tiffany" and that a salesperson there referred to them as such.

Karma

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This article is about the Indian religious concept. For other uses, see Karma (disambiguation)

.

Karma (Sanskrit: कर्म; IPA: [ˈkərmə] ( listen); Pali: kamma) means action, work or deed;[1] it also refers to the spiritual principle of cause and effect where intent and actions of an individual (cause) influence the future of that individual (effect).[2] Good intent and good deed contribute to good karma and future happiness, while bad intent and bad deed contribute to bad karma and future suffering.[3][4] Karma is closely associated with the idea of rebirth in some schools of Asian religions.[5] In these schools, karma in the present affects one's future in the current life, as well as the nature and quality of future lives - or, one's saṃsāra.[6]

With origins in ancient India, it is a key concept in Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, Sikhism,[7] and Taoism

don't be shooting no Bambi now..

when my mom was a girl Grandpa shot a doe one year and when he went to get her she had a baby fawn crying next to it's mama

Grandpa felt so bad he brought the baby home with him to the farm
and mom and her brothers and sisters had a new pet for awhile

they named her jingle bell since that is what they tied around her neck with a pink ribbon and she stayed out in barn with cows, the barn cats and the dogs. Mom used to run home from school just to play with her

but she got bigger and they lost her to a hunter the next deer season
Mom said they figured it had to be a down stater that did it since
everyone around them knew who the deer with the jingle bell belonged to

Sorry to hear about Jingle bell you Mom must have ben heart broken.

My Grandma passes down family stories all of the time she is even doing genealogy research. We work together finding all kinds of family information mostly from other family members or going to the library.
