I can tell you I understand it hitting close to home. I was raised in
Virginia Beach, VA, so I knew many people at VT. My mom called me while
I was out to tell me about the shooting and my entire body went numb,
and then I found out I had to just wait to see if any of them had been
hurt.

No one I knew there was killed, but I am still mourning for VT. My
friends have lost ones close to their heart and that alone makes me
upset. My friend there says you can be walking around the campus and see
someone you have never met and they will hug you, because the campus is
grieving as a whole.

VA Tech is a great communtiy. And as they say, Today, we are all Hokies.

In Virginia it is legal to beat your wife on City Halls steps on Sunday.

In Kent. it is illegal to walk down the sidewalk with an ice cream
sandwich in your back pocket.

In Cali it is illegal to shot a whale from a moving car.

In IL it is illegal to speak english.

In Norfolk, VA it is illegal for a women to drive without a man jogging
in front of her with a red flag.
