ive done it... works pretty well, but instead of just hitting the track, i suggest that someone hit the elliptical first... easier on the joints for someone that was as out of shape as i was... ive run in 11 5ks now and im competitive in my age/weight class... its a nice feeling of accomplishment to go from the couch to competition Happy running folks... cheers to the finish line!
