HELP REMOVING WINDOWS SP3

Have backup / recovery turned on? Try rolling back to a restore point. All programs> accessories> system tools> system restore. Then again why would you remove this? It patches all sorts of potential security problems on your pc (?) Some people in other forums have said that it slows their PC down. I haven't had any problems with SP3 personally so I can't vouch for that. According to Microsoft, it's not supposed to have a big impact on your computer so who knows? Windows® XP Service Pack 3 (SP3) includes all previously released updates for the operating system. This update also includes a small number of new functionalities, which do not significantly change customers’ experience with the operating system.

When you nudge someone, does it send a notification to their email address? Just was curious in case for example you are interested in someone that hasn't been on the site for a month or so.

I posted a story here some weeks ago about corrupt Texas law enforcement in a border town with Louisiana. These cops were using search and seizure statutes to basically shake down anyone from out of town. They had a real money maker on their hands too since many who traveled through the town did so on their way to and from a casino in Louisiana. They seized cars, phones, cash, cell phones, jewelry and anything else they wanted including peoples children. They had pre-signed warrants and orders to remove children from their parents custody. Just fill in the date and time to make it look semi-legal right? You see they were using broad police powers and when people who knew their rights objected they were threatened with things like losing their children. Even when it is unwarranted getting your child out of social services is a nightmare. In only a small percentage of stops was any illegal activity discovered. These bastards are going to do what they like. So, KNOW YOUR RIGHTS and be prepared. Wow, that's really scary. Hopefully the cops got what they deserved. |

With the possibility of drug money exchanging hands in an airport they have every right to detain him and ask where the large sum of money came from and what its intended use is. I don't like the way they handled it, but you generally don't see people walking around with a box full of cash in the airport. Next time they should do like every other normal person would do and take it to a bank and deposit it into an account that belonged to the political affiliation he is representing. But yes, they treated him poorly looked very unprofessional. so much for Amendment 4 - Search and Seizure. Ratified 12/15/1791. The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized. --------- when the rights of you or one of your friends or loved ones are violated we will see how you like (you is used as generic term) hear hear You can sure tell who the cops are on this thread. Thats the guy saying that "they have every right"...when they clearly do NOT. Probable cause for a search, even on ones person, has been clearly defined time and time again as "information from a reliable source that a crime has or will be committed that would have been sufficient to obtain a warrant if put before a judge" Stupid police. Its us and them. The rules are different at an airport. I have to take my shoes off. They open my luggage and search them. They take away my lighters. You're right....pretty much anything goes as far as rules at the airport. Of course at my airport, Homeland Security always looks either bored out of their minds or they are all jumpy waiting for something to happen. Depends on the time of day I guess. |

You just need to write more about yourself. Since you're new here, we don't know you and can't tell you what to write. Ok, thanks for all the feedback. I'll try editing it and see if I can come up with something better. |

That's also kind of confusing... it's like saying, "I don't drink... but I'll have an occasional beer" How should I re-phrase it then? I know it sounds confusing lol. I'm just not sure of how I should phrase it. Or should I just get rid of it? |

You can build a pretty awesome computer that is comparable for under $1000. I built my computer a year ago for only $600. Could play Oblivion on Ultra High with no lag at all. :D
I say go the Newegg route. Prices are really cheap right now due to the recession. |

That's odd that it's not showing up under Add/Remove. I've always seen it there. Maybe you should click "Show Updates" near the top and see if it shows up then.
