I remember starting to chat online when AoL was still $/Hour site. I soon got addicted to talking to people around Portland ,whom I had never met before, like they were old friends after just a week. I also remember not telling anyone else in my group of friends that I was doing that because I thought at the time they wouldnt understand.

Todays world is much different, everyone is so plugged into the internet phenomenon that the once dreaded Stigma no longer applies. People getting married because they met on the internet is a everyday occurance.

I got married to a woman that I met through a Portland area chat room on AoL and were together for 12 years. I would say that the bond that people create online starts in the heart/head...and not in the pants/hormones.

Although mine wasnt a success (as far as longevity), I would think that others who meet online would have a higher rate of success than people who met at a club/bar/event/etc.

So to everyone who thinks this stigma is outdated.....

Pictures are great, the best one is the pic of you and the guy. Smokin hun.

IMO try to "flesh out" your profile a bit as to what kinda guy you are looking for. Maybe a lil bit more about yourself.

Have fun in Mingle hun,

A year is worth at least a phone call. Face to face would be better.

Ive had a couple of MMs, that when you send them a message after a mutual match alert comes up....they are clueless as to who you are. I think its Mingles way of trying to set you up with someone.

Started listening to Rust Never Sleeps at a friends house. His mom always had it on (it seemed). The songs stuck and now have about 15 of his songs in my Ipod atm. I guess Neil is a acquired taste. Raspy voice sometimes....but I still love it.

Have the 80 gig Classic Ipod and dont have any problems with it playing through the MP3 jack in my car stereo deck. Unless you D/L alot of songs/movies into it the 30 gig capacity seems good. I have about 1000 songs in mine and some 10ish movies and I havent even put 20 gig into mine. What size is the screen on your Zune?

Used to play the harmonica to our pet Doxie, he loved it as well. Or maybe he was just trying to compliment my poor tone!

I was going to give the same advice as Gypsy. Go home for a visit, that should give you more insight on "home". Are you going home to do something there, You're just tired of NJ in general, or you think that Ohio is where you want to be.

Sounds like your on the fence atm. Instead of blowing the thing you have in NJ. Go home for a visit and see how things are there.

Who knows, you might go home and meet someone fantastic there, but on the flip side, you might find out that you miss NJ/Boyfriend more than you know.
