As far as what women want...women are all different. There are some
common interests...but we can't expect men to know what we want. We
have to tell them. I have a guy roommate...and granted..we are not
romantically involved...sometimes I have to spell out what I want from
him. When it comes to things around the apt...or even if we are hanging
out...it just depends. Men aren't mind readers ladies...tell them what
is on your mind...we have to be honest too. It's a two way street.
That's just my take though.

Where I am from...the GLBT community is far from a subculture. In
chicago...it's the main culture really. I mean...there are still some
underground places, and some people have to gauge where they can be out
and where they can't...more to me...I feel like the straight community
is more of a subculture...the christian straight, non-insane community.
Which I am a part of. lol.

I am a struggling Christian and I am just curious if this is strange or
not. A year or so back...I got my heart broken, my newly married folks
started falling apart...and I lost sight of Christ. I still have my
core beliefs...but somethings I think and feel don't line up with the
conventional church..as well as something I can't make a definitive
choice about...like homosexuality and heaven and hell. If anyone has
any insight...I would love it. Some of my best friends are gay...I just
want to know where to go from here. Praying feels foreign...I just feel
lost.
