turning your lights off for an hour to conserve entergy sounds like a good idea on paper but in the real world, if you factor in human nature, it will have the opposite effect. what are these people gonna do for an hour in the dark?
9 months from now there will be untold numbers of babies born. just think of how many disposable diapers are gonna go to landfills because of that 1 hour of saving energy.
10 years from now, all of those energy babies are gonna be playing their video games, making trips to the fridge for snacks, leaving lights on, etc. etc. etc. you get the picture. in reality, that 1 hour of savings now is gonna cost in the future.
but that is just human nature. OK EVERYBODY, LIGHTS OUT.
