I’ve pressed the microphone pic down and it’s not allowing my voice note to appear on the persons messages please help

I’ve lost all my messages with someone I’ve been chatting too on here because I miss took a button as a nudge button and it was a match so how do I now get back my conversations I’ve been having with the other member Regards Sharon
