Hello, and thanks for taking a gander at my missive! I'm a "California native", was married once, many moons ago; no kids. You'll either love or decry my extemporaneous, ironic sense of humor, richly sprinkled with obscure historical and cinematic references. I'm a morning person. I am playful, spontaneous, and very much at ease with people. I also value my contemplative and intellectual pursuits. I am unpretentious. I am often very moved and excited by life's simple pleasures and always find occasions for laughter. I love being outdoors: Skiing, day hiking, tennis, horseback riding, biking, camping and a touch of gardening are some of my favorites. I am an excellent conversationalist, imbued with substantial arcane knowledge though not quite to the extent of "Jeopardy Ken"; And I am equally drawn to quiet, wordless moments of intimacy and fun. Spontaneity is one of my hallmarks! I love the sciences, the arts and world travel. I enjoy most music, photography, museums, unusual eateries, wine, candlelight, fireplaces on a chilly evening or morning, parties, flowers, funny shaped clouds, sunsets over the Pacific, cooking for a special friend, and shared quiet cozy moments. For whatever insight it may provide, I proffer that I've never paid a cent of credit card interest nor used an auto-teller. I'm actually ahead on the credit card folk by about $20,000 lifetime counting all the rebates, givebacks, FF miles, etc. I haven't eaten anything at McDonalds (though I did own stock in the company), or other burger chain outlet, excepting a couple loose french fries, for 25 years. I have a private (aircraft) pilot's license. I'm not much of a sports fan, nor club goer. I don't drink beer nor coffee. I've no communicable diseases, prison record, restraining orders, outstanding debts, nor Twilight Zone downside. I am allergic to cats, dogs & gods so, if you are keeping close company with any of those critters we probably aren't a love match. I do have digitized photo(s) available but, I'm circumspect regarding posting them on this silly site. I'll exchange directly in response to your serious inquiry. I'm seeking a best friend, lover, partner who is kind, honest, witty, articulate & communicative, affectionate, inquisitive, attractive, intelligent, self-aware, playful and spontaneous, but who, like me, has a contemplative, reflective, perhaps even an artistic or creative bent. A woman who's down-to-earth with a sense of adventure and who values integrity, friendship and monogamy for the duration of our relationship, whether it lasts an hour, an evening, or indefinitely! I also realize that a list of qualities is inadequate when it comes to defining the essence of a woman with whom I am likely to forge a deep connection--words like "kindred spirit, soulmate, partner in crime" come to mind and these things have to do with qualities that cannot be captured in ordinary language. Depth, sincerity, humor, passion, kindness, and an openness to new experiences; These words only begin to suggest what I value most in a partner. Finally, as long as the world wide web is being stretched to its limits, I'd hope to conjure up a woman worth dying for, or killing for, though, neither of those actions should be a prerequisite for a first date.
