So what, you have to be homeless or a drug addict or a pimp to understand a fellow human being's pain now? There are plenty of us in here that have suffered great hardships in our lives, and turning away people when they offer to help because they don't listen to a song pretty much dates your maturity level. It's just plain rude and discounts the pain that other people have gone through in order to give them any empathy toward you. Sucks about your friend, not that you care to hear it from us grown ups. I threw up on I-94 once. In three different states. That was a long trip... ....I wondered why my hair was all sticky and reeked. Shouldn't have drank so much up in west allis.

i lived under I-4 in orlando, back in 1988-89....bad years. savings and loan fell through, and left me homeless for 14 months... worked my ass off the whole time... just didn't make enough at the time for first-last-and security dep, for appt living, hard to do when homeless. i didn't drink or smoke, or do drugs, it was just a hard time in my life.

I hear. I lost 2 this week. A great kid paco 30 year old bass player. Bad ticker. He didn't know. Bang. Gone. And another freind. Her pancrea burst. Died enroute at 42. Two kids. Rough week.
