i knew a girl who moved from texas to kentucky and she asked me one day "what are those things with long tails that climb trees? are they tree rats?" and i had to explain its a squirrel. Then one day she asked "what are those fat things in the fields? they are like armadillos without armor?" And i had to explain what a gopher was
